It was a Thursday lunch time when I visited. It was quiet with only four or five other customers. I was served quickly by friendly staff. The cheese scone and cake were good as was the coffee. The prices were reasonable making it reasonable value for money. Free WiFi was available, always a plus. Quite nice smart rustic decore, if that is not a contradiction. There is also an outside area to sir. I feel a bit mean 'only" giving it four stars; my head says it deserved five but my heart stopped giving it the full quota of stars.I have visited several times since my first visit, the latest in January 2022. In this latest visit I had a cherry frangipane tart and it was sublime; a nice crispy crust, soft frangipani, plenty of succulent cherries and a delicious pastry base. For this reason I have increased my initial 4-star review up to five.July 2022 - still great.

Very well presented and food and drink options provide good choice. Recommended.

·

Excellent service Great choice and lovely staff. Can highly recommend this venue with good parking available.

·

Nice little coffee shop and bakery. The kitchen was closed by the time we got there but the bakery items we ordered were all good.

·

We had a wonderful Friday night dinner as well as Saturday afternoon tea at The Stove recently. I would definitely recommend it for a standard buffet as well as for its cakes, brownies etc.

Each time we visit we enjoy the fresh, healthy food. Delicious cakes and you can take a slice home. Tables outside too so you can go with your dog. Nice bakery attached and a butcher within few minutes walk. Advise booking ahead for a Saturday lunchtime. Popular for cream teas.

Extremely good food and very cosy, great staff and great atmosphere, definitely recommend!

Beautiful gem of a cafe and farm shop. When approaching by car, it is easy to miss the entrance to manor farm shops, and the cafe is near invisible from the road, but well worth keeping an eye out for. Plenty of parking, a cosy, yet private atmosphere, friendly staff all contribute to feeling very comfortable. The food was out very quickly, and the selection of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as the care taken with all these dishes was great! Will come and back recommend!

Nice little cafe. Good choice for gluten free food and plenty choices for cakes. Not so good for us during winter months as no dogs allowed inside.

Friendly staff, busy all morning with a good atmosphere, if a little noisy; mainly a mix of pensioners and young families, with the occasional young couple. Food is simple, ample portioned, and we'll put together. Some interesting combos from the chef, who clearly has a good understanding of flavours (totally stealing some of his ideas for use at home!). Service is quick and the coffee is pretty good too.
