I had heard good reviews from family but I went on Mother's day where it was a roast and dessert. I can't therefore comment on their variety. It seemed overcrowded and we were in the bar area and was asked to vacate our seats as I guess they were booked solid all day. My sister booked the restaurant but it was one of those "as many plates" fares, which is not really my style. The staff were friendly but clearly busy. The picture showing the rear outside has changed. It is now covered, with lights and heating. The dinner was a little too well seasoned for me and I guess because of the volume they were catering for, the components showed characteristics of mass production. I don't want to be rude as they were obviously trying. People like me eat out for a culinary adventure, not because I'm starving and require several helpings.

We had our first carvery here today. Wow it was so good, amazing food, lovely friendly helpful staff and superb value. It was all you can eat and that even included the meat. Have never had that anywhere else before. We will definitely be going back again

Haddock and chips and peas, pretty safe you would have thought. The chips and peas were all right, but I have never seen a smaller piece of haddock. What there was was overcooked and smothered in mounds of solid batter that shattered over the floor when invasion by fork was attempted. Not a good advert for continued business.

Having lived in the area for over 23 years I cannot believe this was our first visit, least to say it will certainly not be our last. Absolutely delicious. We had the Sunday carvery and the choice was brilliant - beef (cooked to perfection) gammon, pork or turkey (and not limited to just one). Something to meet everyones requirements. The staff were welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much effort.Highly recommend this hidden gem of a pub and we will be returning to sample more of their menu very soon.

Have been meaning to drop into this seemingly active village pub for many moons and finallly today we had the opportunity to stop off for a quick lunchtime visit. We were not disappointed and had a super baguette n chunky chips from a comprehensive menu served by welcoming & knowledgable landlord. Plan to revisit to sample further fare.

We have now become regulars for the outstanding Sunday lunch. Ben & Kathy have done so well during the pandemic and we had a marvellous greeting when we were allowed back in. Brilliant staff too who care for our every need. Long may it last. Thank you to everyone.

Nice country pub with a wide choice of food, including several vegetarian and vegan options. I didn't try the beers but they looked interesting.

Very lovely country pub! The staff are super friendly and welcoming they are also on the Round app so you can order to the table. I really recommend this pub. I cycled here from Huntingdon and it was well worth the trip!

I gained at least five pounds here but man oh man! It was with it! The spinach ricotta cannelloni was delish! So was my husband’s sausages and mash. My friend had the steak and ale pie and said it was super. I liked the friendly staff and there was plenty of parking in the rear. There’s also a patio that looked kid friendly but it was a bit too chilly to be outside. A great pub. Two thumbs up!
