Great hidden gem! We were staying in a nearby hotel and this was essentially the only place with food within walking distance so we didn’t have our hopes very high. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and the vegetarian offering available. Both the snacks to start with and the mains were amazing. Our dessert didn’t blow us away (we went for the brownie with miso, wasn’t sweet enough for us!) but everything else was on point. The prices are perhaps a little high but they are 100% justified as the quality of food served is great. Staff couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for great pub food!

Cannot fault the food at all. It was amazing. I have only given 4 stars as the drinks we ordered came with ice when we both asked without. I also ordered a oat decaff latte and they had no oat and when the latte arrived half of it was mainly bubbles. Another reason for the 4 star the toliets were extremely basic. In the men's and women . Apart from that the price was good for the quality of food we received.

Went there with a mate of mine for a pint and a snack, drinks are a fair price for the rest of the city, we looked at the menu and food is quite pricey, pies are ÂŁ16.50 for example. I had some chips with shaved (micro) truffle and parmesan, they were nice but oh boy was it a powerful taste. My mate had whitebait and he absolutely loved it, I tried it and also thought it was great, staff really friendly and funny, good atmosphere, if you've got the ÂŁ to spare, worth a visit!

Lovely staff. Very small portions for price virtually no vegetables you have to order sides making the meal way over priced. Would not return. You need deep pockets

Wow. A tiny village pub in the middle of nowhere. Great parking, and even better food. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I have to admit I was not expecting anything more than pub food, you know, the classic fish n chips, sausage with mash and gravy etc... but when I saw the menu and ordered my food it came out as good as top restaurant quality. The food was cooked to perfection, the sauces and garnishes were excellently balanced and complimented everything beautifully. The portion sizes were small, but enough to satisfy. Great selection of wines -good selection of beers and a limited, but classic, selection of cocktails. I would reccommend people who like quality food to travel out of their way to this little village pub. You will not be dissapointed.

Worth everyone of those 4 stars!Ample parkingVery warm welcoming.Seating was good.Atmosphere was great. The food was exceptional!Really was presented and cooked well. The taste was as good as it looked.Hats off to the chef.Would have been 5 star if the parmesan and truffle chips.Actually had shavings of truffle. But also they were skinny fries.Personally id have had chunkier chips. Maybe even skin on.Nevertheless they were nice

Not from the area so always difficult to choose a place to eatWe were staying nearby for a family birthday celebration. We had to rely very much on online reviews to choose a venue for the Saturday night we were not disappointed!!Don’t be put off by any negative reviews as the the three Horseshoes was in my opinion spot on!The welcome was wonderful the food was excellent and the pub was comfortable and relaxing! Thanks you to all the team and a well done to the kitchen team, the food was beyond expectations.

Nice quality food as expected from cambscuisine. Menu was quite varied, food was good and well prepared but not really special, and somehow didn't feel freshly prepared, I think it was prepared earlier or elsewhere and stored and then finished for presentation at service which worked for slow cooked dishes but was less good for items like pies etc as pastry doesn't reheat well. The service was excellent from the front of house team.

Totally enjoyable meal. A friend and I ate out in the garden under a tent top.Atmosphere was lovely. I had some pickled onions for starters followed up by a medium rare steak with wholegrain mustard accompanied with some chunky chips.Meal was perfectly prepared and presented and the chunky chips were so good I did something unthinkable and ordered a second portion.Great experience and highly recommended.
