The White Hart in South Cambridgeshire

The restaurant we did not stay overnight. The menu was an interesting mix of Greek and Turkish meals in addition to the traditional pub meals you might expect. The quality of the food was extremely good as was the friendly service.The pub look interesting from the outside,And once inside it has a very nice ambience and looks recently refurbished, in a way that retains its traditional feel.🔥

Excellent, customer service you couldn't ask for better, the food was cooked perfectly , a great meal in a nice relaxing atmosphere ,

Tired Rooms , taps dripping drainage problems on sink and shower tray , an electric pump which is noisy disturbing your sleep, Food in small portions and overpriced , , apart from that Perfect.

We didn't dine here but menu looks good. Service good staff pleasant

High price for Sunday lunch with little meat, lots of fat and missing key elements on some plates. Rude waiting staff and owner.

We all had a very nice meals. The service was most professional.

We stopped here for lunch today. The food was delicious. We had the steak ciabatta with chips and the duck wrap. Good size portions, very presented and very hot! We had a lovely young waitress. The decor was rustic and warm and welcoming. We will definitely be going back for dinner at some point. Highly recommend 👌

We stayed here overnight on Saturday 4th December 2021 as we were visiting Cambridge. The White Hart was easy to find, has a car park attached to pub. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was a good size for a night stay bit be small for a few night stay. The tea/coffee was limited but I am sure you can ask for a top up. The kettle is attached to the lead which isn't idea and is small especially when trying to pour water into it from the bathroom sink.The bed is comfortable but the quilt was quite thin for winter. They do supply heaters as well as a radiator in the room which kept the room warm enough. The bathroom is nice and contemporary. The breakfast menu was good, had a few choices, we went for the Egg Royale which was cooked nicely and presented well. Very tasty.WIFI in room was poor as were Room 1 so probably the furthest from the router.I would recommend this B&B for a night or 2 stay but the room may be too small for 3-7 night stay.

My wife and I visited last Saturday evening with another couple. The food was lovely but the service shocking. When we arrived it was clear there was a problem with our reservation, eventually they found a table. When we finished our desert at a little before 9:30 we were told they couldn't accept 2 credit cards (split the bill) and that as the pub was closing we needed to leave, we couldn't order further drinks. There was no mention of closing at 9:30 when we booked. As they couldn't take 2 credit cards we paid with cash but didn't include the optional service charge due to the problems. We left the payment and were directed to the back door as they had locked the front door. Then as we walked across the courtyard they came out and told us we hadn't paid enough. We explained the service charge was optional and left.

This is a brilliant find. We (me and 3 mates)booked 3 nights stay so that we could visit the IWM Duxford and check the area out. The pub accommodation is ideal. A real bonus is firstly the staff, all excellent, friendly and helpful. On top of this, the food is excellent. We ate in all 3 nights. We all agreed we would return with the wives. Well done team.
