The White Horse Inn in South Cambridgeshire

Very nice people, food ok not an extensive menu certainly good for family's. Would recommend it.

Fantastic staff and service from everyone. Great drinks always available and the food is another level for a pub restaurant. Can't fault the new landlords and staffing team at all and will be back as often as I can :)

Popped into the White Horse as it's relatively local to us and we knew it was under new management.I can't comment on the normal menu (because this one had a Christmas bent) or how often the items will change with the seasons, but it seemed to broadly the classics on this visit.The Carpaccio of Smoked Salmon starter was nicely presented and dressed with tiny pickled beetroots and pealed orange segments. These cut through and complimented the fat of the salmon really nicely.The Beef Bourguignon that followed was absolutely superb. Beautifully braised beef that fell apart, on a bed of super smooth and creamy mash and a rich sauce with shine that was packed with flavour and depth. The sprinkling of silver onions and chanterelle mushrooms added a nice edge to the richness. One of the very best I've tasted and I spend a lot of time in France.I understand the kitchen has only been open a few weeks, but on the basis of this visit we will be going back and look forward to seeing the menu develop with the seasons.

Dropped in on the way back home. We thought we would break the journey up by dropping in to a pub for lunch.What a great pub. We felt at home right from the start. Lovely atmosphere. The staff couldn't be better. We hadn't book for dinner but they squeezed us in. We are definitely booking next time we travel past. The food was good with a quick service the beer was good Wish I didn't have to travel or I'd be propping up the bar all day.

Food was fantastic, the service was impeccable. It is a great pub and caters for Children! Definitely will return!
