Went here with friends on Sunday the food was extremely poor. Presentation was disgusting the plates looked as if the food had been thrown on the plate. We ordered the Sunday roast 2 roast beef & 2 roast chicken breast. The roast beef was all fat & tough. The chicken breasts were hard & dry in fact it was dreadful. The veg which was included in the price consisted of 2 small pieces of broccoli & 3 very small potatoes & Yorkshire pudding which were all cold. On the chicken breast was a slightly warm slimey brown gravy. The only excuse from the chef was they were short staffed sorry this is no excuse when you are charging £25.00 for roast dinner. He said he would give us a voucher to come again but all we were given was a bill for £136.00 which stupidly we paid. Will definitely not go again.

We had a dining pod in the garden. Which was lush.Food was amazing. I had the duck with cherry and fondant potatoes, my partner had the mushroom risotto. Washed down with a lovely bottle of wine, and cocktails for afters.Really really nice. Definitely will go back.

Booked the dome and we weren't disappointed! Loads of room, kept warm with the heater, and the speaker on the table was a nice touch so we could pick our own music.Every dish we had was so tasty.Dylan our waiter was great and I felt sorry for him being outside all night but he did a brilliant job. Took care of everything!Lovely evening, and will definitely return!

Fantastic food on offer here, if the starters are a tad expensive. The restaurant offers high class dining with a rustic aesthetic that doesn't quite gel, but I do appreciate the decor choice. Sadly today was let down by average service. Wrong desserts brought to us, wine forgotten about and arrived after our dinner, plates took an age to be cleared away etc. However, one of the nicer restaurants near us and worth a visit.

I booked a Dome at the Willow Tree for my mums birthday last night, and we all had such a lovely time. Everything looked so beautiful, and we had a lovely, helpful waitress- Freya! She brought all the food out together (there was 7 of us) so none of us had to wait and checked in on us all night! I would definitely recommend the willow tree, the food was amazing and had great service!

The definition of "cozy pub". Both indoors and outdoors are absolutely magical. The staff was kind and fast and accommodated our requests with ease (we had a booking for the terrace but after a bit realised it was getting chilly, asked the staff to be moved inside and they got us a table in a matter of minutes!). Starters were fantastic, the white crab salad was refreshing and tasty while the miso salmon was simple but a great combination of flavours. It was a shame the burgers weren't more complex (reason of the 4 stars). While the meat was really good and probably one of the best we had in a while, everything else was just plain and the whole thing was missing a "zing". Skin-on fries or blue cheese with have been a nice touch to make the burger a bit different. Anyway, would still recommend going here!Lovely atmosphere, decent food and great staff, if you're in the surroundings you must try The Willow Tree.
