Three Hills in South Cambridgeshire

Fare's fair. Otherwise a victim of its own success. A two hour window for a meal (not enough for a 3 course meal for 7 as it proved) should be just that. Ours was nibbled away by management's confusion over the booking for which an apology but no extension was given. That resulted in the clock closing on our dessert order. with the only alternative an offer to have it served outside in a gloomy and draughty tented area. This was unappealing and is not an adequate alternative at any time of year; so no dessert. Beyond that a drinks order was incorrectly supplied without explanation despite the order taken correctly as the tab showed. A replacement, and apology given when this was queried, was offered but as the original couldn't be supplied (something had broken down apparently) the drink was taken. Food dropped on the table during service by staff. Vegetables overcooked and served in a cool dish. For the party size they should have been brought to table in at least two properly warmed dishes. No major problems but disappointing and unsettling all round really, we rejected the 'discretionary' service charge and we are unlikely to be back. There are better places locally and even the chains are a little more polished than this spotty service.

We had the most incredible, magical wedding at The Three Hills. We honestly cannot thank Emma & the staff enough for everything that they did. It was a dream to plan our special day with them from start to finish and nothing was a problem. We were able to personalise our day completely down to the tiniest details.The food was insane, Harry the chef was so friendly, and made sure that we had everything that we wanted. So many of our guests said the food was the best wedding food they had ever had - and he even created a salted caramel brownie station for us! As well as accommodating vegetarian, gluten and dairy free diets.All the staff were incredible, so friendly, accommodating of last minute covid changes and all entered into the spirit of the wedding making it the most amazing day. We hired out the venue and therefore also booked all the rooms on site for our friends and family to stay at. The rooms are perfect, very comfortable, clean and cosy.We cannot recommend The Three Hills highly enough

The food is beautiful, the staff are so cool and professional. The location is beautiful and inside equally so. Highly recommend here and I'm already looking forward to visiting again.

Fantastic food, well deserving of the awards, with a great well thought out combination of flavours. The staff were lovely, helpful, highly professional and friendly. Will certainly be back. Loved both the indoor decor and the outside setting under the marquee. Gardens were well designed and beautifully maintained. Definitely worth booking as understandably popular.
