Goodies Food Hall / Cafe Restaurant in South Norfolk

I normally find restaurants in food halls to be over priced and the food adequate at best, BUT Goodies is the exception. OMG, the food is amazing.I really wish I had a picture for you. I ate the Bacon Chop from the specials menu. The bacon was thick, just salty enough and cooked perfectly. The savoy cabbage and new potatoes had a hint of tarragon and mustard that really wanted me to eat more. The star of the plate had to be the sweet baby onions which I think I could eat forever. I think there was a touch of aniseed with the onions but I'm not 100% sure. The whole plate just came together in a taste explosion that I won't forget in a hurry.We weren't planning on dessert, but we decided to purely on the basis of how good the mains were. The cheesecake was good, the biscuit base could have been a bit dryer and firmer, but the cake filling was tasty. The little sprigs of mint really topped it off though. Not a dessert to rush, but to savour.Suffice it to say, the staff were super helpful and cheerful.All in all, a very pleasant experience that I hope to repeat the next time we pass.

Always enjoyed goodies as a treat. They do an amazing breakfast. The shop is always full of delectable items and creations. In store butchers, and deli. The sausage rolls are second to none!!

Stopped for a quick coffee on the way up to Norfolk. A lot of money had been spent of the restaurant since we last dropped in several years ago. Good menu options for breakfast but one thing missing was the option of a bacon roll. Good farm shop too with a fresh fish caravan outside on Saturday mornings.

Words would not do any justice to how amazing goodies food Hall is. The breakfast was amazing, fresh produce from the farm shop was used, was served hot, coffee and orange juice was amazing. The staff were amazing just everything was amazing. I 100% recommend this little gem to anyone.

Loved the restaraunt,waitress told us of alternative vegetarian/vegan options we can have that weren't on the menu.The food served was excellent.Food Hall had a good range of food but expensive and be aware if you don't spend the whole amount on your voucher you lose the left over amount.Could do with a bigger selection of hardware or non food gift ideas. I didn't want to spend a voucher on an edible product.

I recently had the most delicious lunch at Goodies. Bangers and creamy mash, with a delicious sauce and crispy onion rings. served on a beautiful large colourful plate, and served by a very cheerful young lady called Nicole, who had a beautiful sense of humour.There was a very warm happy atmosphereIn the restaurant. I recommend you book before you go though, as it was full when I was there, and I was lucky to get a table.

We have returned for several and to try the breakfast after the refurbishment and extension. Still perfect and fantastic Beautiful own pork sausages, Smokey sweet bacon lush mushrooms, served with rich baked beans, crunchy hash brown and a golden yolk fried egg. Crisp brown toast. Great pot of amber tea to wash it all down. Perfect ! Thank you goodies!! We come in on Friday 19th March for lunch...again delightful. I had the sausage of the week,mash, onions and beans. My other half had the pork and apple burger, chips and coleslaw. Delicious. We'll be back again!

Amazing restaurant. Have just been in for lunch and loved the upgraded decor and the staff are brilliant - so helpful and polite. The best part of all though was the food - absolutely delicious, and although we had to wait for it to be cooked we didn't mind one bit because it was so tasty and beautifully presented. I will definitely be going back. I have to also mention the farm shop with an array of perfect fresh produce as well as other foods and beverages. I have reluctantly given this place 5 well deserved stars - I hope as a result of my review it doesn't become too popular and too busy!!

Friendly and welcoming staff, great food and service. Have been here several times, both the restaurant and the farm shop are of excellent quality. The chap that owns this started out with a market stall. He has recently redeveloped the restaurant to a very nice standard. There is an outside space as well for the kids. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

Large family get together. Meals all ordered in advance very efficiently over telephone.Excellent food both adults and children brought out to ensure we all ate together cooked to perfection as per the order.Waitress service first class. Thoroughly recommend a visit.
