Horse and Hounds in South Norfolk

Stopped here after a driving experience at the local airfield.WOW what can I say about this pub apart from OUTSTANDING!We were met by friendly faces and staff. Ordered drinks and sat out in the well cared for garden. Ordered our food beef burger, veggie burger, chilli con carne and the fish and chips. Its all freshly made, so had to wait a little bit, but its worth the wait. The food was outstanding, fresh, great portions and tasted amazing.Well done the chef 👨‍🍳 👏 👍Desert didn't disappoint us either. The lemon cheese cake and the chocolate brownie were just as amazing as the mains.I couldn't recommend this pub more highly, it's just a shame we had travelled for 2 hours otherwise this would be our local!Well done to everyone at The Fox & Hounds 👏👏

Great little country pub with a fair choice of ales and lagers. The service is very good and the food is good value for money.

Nice traditional pub, very local. Pity we couldn't try the kitchen as it was closed at the time. Good selection of beers and friendly people. They also had a pub ball game which I don't know the name of! Overall very nice

Visit here, usually weekly, for lunch with friends. The three course lunch is great value. Staff are always helpful and accommodate requests we make. Very friendly atmosphere.

First visit in a while. Still a great pub to visit for beer and food.The addition of the outdoor dining 'pods' is an inspired idea.

Loved it here. Little wooden huts that you can have to yourself. Lovely and cosy, to eat Sunday dinner with friends and family. Food great too. Would definitely recommend a visit here. I saw a marquee in the back, so must cater for wedding functions etc

Lovely place with great food and reasonable price. I love the pods/chalets they built outside where I feel cosy and safe. My favourite restaurant.

A lovely friendly pub with good food and very professional happy staff, which says a lot for the management.Even the locals are friendly ( lol ) and I’m one of them, although I live two and a half miles away and there are pubs much closer to me I choose to cycle to the Fox & hounds most times for a bit of friendly banter,a pint or two and some good inexpensive food some times.Mike Goulding,

Excellent village pub. Great service. Fantastic food and good value. Great atmosphere for eating and drinking. Good beer garden and amazing marquee
