Great food, great decor . The main course can take some time to arrive from my 2 experiences there . But I would recommend it .

Lovely place for family / friends to get together. Food was great! Staff were amazing!

The owner likes to fire staff if they drink at other pubs or support them I quote “you’re not allowed to support our competitors”I mean it’s absolutely absurd won’t be drinking there ever again nor will my friends or family after all hearing this they think the dudes a joke who runs it

Great local pub to us, with very helpful staff who always look after you . They do a great variety of meals too, definitely pop in if your ever in town👍

After ordering breakfast here on a few occasions, the time between ordering and being served needs to improve dramatically! The breakfast, once you do receive it is great but it takes too long.We ordered four breakfasts with a few replacement items but nothing extra and recently waited nearly 40 minutes !And we're informed, albeit jokingly, that we were a pain in the a***.More help required in the kitchen or advise people to go shopping for half an hour.

Party of five for lunch. The place has interesting decor, large artificial trees and stuffed peacocks! Small car park at rear. The food we had was delicious, special mention for the lamb cutlets. The onion rings are seriously large. They were in no way busy but everything seemed to take ages to arrive.A strange and somewhat annoying point. One person's main and another's side dish arrived many minutes before the rest of the food. Why? If people go out together they like to eat together, at the same time. What is the use of a side dish without its accompanying main? The quality of the food means I would go back but if this type of service repeated that would be the last time.

Very welcoming, the decor gives the Restaurant a cosy feeling, lovely food, reasonably priced, very large portions. As it was Mothers'Day the room was full and extremely noisy so it was difficult to have a conversation. Felt maybe too many tables near to each other. Minor point though - the very helpful and friendly staff more than made up for any negatives. Thank you JD Young's.

We only popped in for lunch. Decor really nice.Food adequate. The main letdown for us was the volume of music. Did ask for it to be turned down but it seemed it was quickly turned back up.To us it was like having a lunch at the local disco, hence scoring

Been there several times in the past for a meal. Very much disappointed with todays lunch. I asked for GF battered haddock and chips. I got grilled or pan fried haddock and bottom of the bucket crispy chips. It’s no credit to the Chef if he/she can’t cook bartered fish GF.Wont be going again….not for the price charged too. Two fish and chips, three beers….£45.50!26/03/22
