Lovely rural pub. Very friendly staff and equally friendly landlady and landlord. Set in a quiet village. Wonderful service. Your average options of drinks and always Wonderful ales. Always a guest ale on and i haven't had a bad one yet

Good menu, had an excellent steak and kidney pudding. Guinness was nice temperature too. Easy to find and park, 30mph limit in village so please respect that

·

Bike ride and Lunch out with partner and friends, had a Sunday lunch 💋 lovely, meat so tender melted in your mouth lovely seasonal veggies, amazing Roast Chicken. Lovely day had a little go/ game of badminton while there also friends played table tennis too. Which were both free also (outdoors in garden) we shall be going back for more soon. 😁

Beautiful home hearty home cooked meals, we had the Steak and Ale pie and pecan pie it was delicious, 2courses £9.50 excellent value. We're definitely going back

Very odd.Appeared to be open when we arrived, turned out they weren't but would be soon so we waited outside. They never came to tell us they were open so we had our entire meeting outside on the bench. We asked the landlady if it was okay to start a social club, which she agreed to, but then told our clients to remove the posters when we sent them around.

My local, so bias. TBH not perfect but what is. Great company and amazing people make this pub. Its a little.pub in a little village with a massive atmosphere, came and see for yourself, don't rely on me...........

Nice friendly pub with a good selection of beers and an excellent menu.

Good place for food. Searched hard to find a pub in my local area that still did ordinary sandwiches and light bites that haven't been "deconstructed" or artistically recreated! Naturally there is an array of finer choices that looked appealing but when you just want an uncomplicated option it was refreshing to have that choice.

It's always been a great pub. It's improved lately too. Long may it continue. Juke box would be great and would be nice to see young people back. Drop that beer price (not just this pub by the way) and we will be calling in weekly.

Warm welcome, historic building, in the summer you might see some Morris dancing. Good menu with lots of variety and veggie options. Once a month there is a 'bring your instrument' music night.
