Got a great deal in the Spring sale for a well needed couple break - wouldn't normally be able to afford this so could only do so due to the deal.Used the leisure facilities, pool a little cool but still enjoyable.Lovely evening meal and breakfast.Would've given 5 stars but bed wasn't as comfortable as we'd have liked - basically twin beds pushed together to make a double so could feel the join in the beds which were also a bit 'lumpy'.

I am so sorry to leave a bad review, because at first we were so delighted by this hotel. It is a magnificent building, set in gorgeous parkland. Staff were sweet and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable, the indoor pool was exceptional and water temp. agreeable. The room rate was very reasonable. I was already framing a five-star review in my mind when I went to bed. Then it all went wrong. At 2am we were abruptly woken by absolute bedlam from the corridor outside our room. Now, we've all had experience of noisy guests at hotels, but this was whole orders of magnitude worse. It was as if a drunken football crowd were bawling and chanting at our door. While I struggled to pull on my pants, my wife went to remonstrate with them but they totally ignored her. She observed that a nearby room (323) had an ironing board wedged in the door to enable the whole block to share in the revelry. You might say that the hotel cannot be blamed directly for this and that events are an indispensable part of its revenue ; but it is not good management to host a large event (in this case a Nuffield Group farmers' training conference) and mingle them with normal private guests. In any large crowd there is always a strong possibility of total morons like this who cannot hold their drink but do hold other people in utter contempt. The lady at the desk admitted that there had been many other complaints about these sc*m.The whole experience was made more wretched by excessively loud and aggressive background 'music', staggeringly inappropriate in the lovely breakfast room. Again, staff told me that many guests complained, but management send these CDs to all the hotels in the group, so there was no choice. They did turn it off, though - bliss! So, we left feeling tired, sad and disgusted, with the strong impression that crass, boorish management has reduced this national treasure to a lowlife squalid bear-pit. We visit Norwich regularly, but will not be returning here.

Food good.. spa lovely.. Great golf course.. only complaint I have is the restaurant furniture is a bit dated and could do with an overhaul...

Spent a lovely night here at the weekend, the room was comfortable and the hotel is generally well presented, it's clear in some areas that work needs to be done though. The staff are all nice and treat you well, we had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the results were mixed! the breakfast was very good and we all agreed we liked this, the dinner was average at best, they was 7 of us with not one of us really enjoying the main meal (that said the deserts were nice) maybe we just got lucky though? It was overall a good break though

Kerstin and her wedding team couldn't be better, everyone really enjoyed the wedding, sadly the rest of the hotel didn't match this team, woefully under staffed, who would pay such high restaurant prices like £66 for a steak dinner, I ordered a meal consisted of side dishes, no plate, when requested a cold plate for hot food was brought, by the time a warm plate was brought food was tepid. also the following morning it had been arranged for family guests to sit together for breakfast, that is unless you're disabled and wheelchair bound, in which case you were seated far away from family members who oddly have the same surname, very bad and extremely poor planning by the hotel and hotel. We tried to contact the hotel a few days prior to the wedding, the phone number on Google doesn't work, contacted head office who said they would email the hotel, no call, asked a director on the day of the wedding, he firmly stated that no email was received. Don't expect to much from such a beautiful setting. Not impressed, then again you might have worked that out, sad really.

We had the best stay here this weekend. All the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable especially Charlotte in the restaurant both in the evening and at breakfast. Food was all served quickly, and was very well presented, I had the most amazing looking and tasting cheesecake. Room was beautiful and very clean, facilities gym, sauna and pool were all clean, well attended and a made the whole experience more enjoyable. Thank you We will definitely be back

I just loved to be there for two nights. Breakfast, Staff, style of the hotel, I loved all @ Thank you ever so much for made my days for me and my partner birthday.

We visited Dunstan Hall in 2020 just before the first lockdown for Wife’s 60th Birthday and we had a good time in the circumstances. However, we went back again this year to celebrate my sisters birthday and sadly management of this establishment is sadly lacking. The first thing we noticed was on going repair works within the hotel and guests were expected to walk around them while they were working. Our room had not been hoovered, nether my sons with human hair being found in his room. In our room the radiator for the towels did not work. The immediate light near the room entrance did not work. The saving grace was the fact that the beds were comfortable. When walking from our room to the dining area it was very cold due to the fact that the fire doors were actually left open! The meals in the evening were terrible but we only stayed two nights thank goodness. On both occasions the food was not good and we had to wait an hour and a half for our main meal, and it was not worth waiting for. There were at least 6 couples who were complaining and asking were their food would arrive. 3 people just walked out after waiting so long, so the hotel must have lost money, it was painful sitting there. The staff tried to do their best and were polite but the was definitely a shortage of staff. They got our bill wrong on both nights, over charging us and under charging the previous night to their own detriment. What shame we will never go again - lovely surroundings just bad management. Sort it out!We paid £700 for two nights for three of us - but is was not worth the money. We would like our money back!We have decided to take this matter further.

I have thought long and hard about this review. Firstly, the staff are hard working, polite and offer a great level of service and they would merit five stars. Secondly, the situation of the hotel is excellent, Norwich city centre is ten minutes away, the Broads twenty and the coast only forty hence making it a great place to explore Norfolk. The rooms in the hotel are both clean and well decorated. Now we come to a major problem the quality of the food and the way it is presented. We ate in the dining room three weeks ago and the standard was fine, last night however, this was not the case. The menu is over three weeks old and the chef’s seem to have fallen out of love with it. Give them a chance to add a dish of the day or add a specials board. Do SOMETHING! Being proud of my county I want all visitors to leave with a desire to return. Would we stay here again, maybe but would we eat here again? DEFINITELY NOT!

Enjoyed a two night stay. Hotel is a rabbit Warren and some of our group found it difficult to find their rooms and the dining room. The hotel did give us a map.Breakfast excellent - buffet style. Table service in the evening was very slow but in the hotel's introductory letter it did say there was staffing problems.Large bedrooms, very comfortable bed and a very good walk in shower as I had requested a no bath room if possible.
