Friendly staff, and the food has been poshed up, but a long wait considering there’s a whole kitchen, several staff and only 2 people in the restaurant

My boyfriend and I went to Morrison’s cafe around 11-12 and we ordered a breakfast and Steak and ale pie about 10 minutes later a young lady came over and said they didn’t have any? So I had to quickly find something else and I had a chicken burger we waited around for 30minutes so all together 40 minutes for food and the table was filthy hadn’t been clean but we eventually got our food no apology for it being late or anything! The chicken was very soggy and the chips where cold overall I didn’t really enjoy it!

Coffee not served hot from machines and you have to carefully warm your own cups under hot water dispenser as they are very cold. No taste to coffee. Staff polite but too few of them to clear away. Not knowledgeable about food hygiene temperatures.

Easy to use computer pad to select your meal choice. Food delivered pretty much 5 minutes later was already cooked. Plenty of seating, high seats for toddlers. Coffee and tea via machine with refills free. Cutlery wasn't the cleanest.Cafe was bright and sunny next to the car park and the Morrisons Supermarket on the other side. Staff OK.Everything is fairly basic but it does what it says on the tin and I would use again so it's probably a 3.5 score

So slow it was embarrassing. Till operator said there was a half hour wait. We waited 50mins. Several dishes were unavailable, and that left a poor selection. After about 40 min one of the staff came to tell us that a pizza we had ordered was now unavailable and we had to choose something else. When it arrived the food was edible but nothing special. I would not recommend this cafe based on my experience.

Unfortunately we always give it a try and always disappointed with the food. Ordered the "Big Daddy Breakfast" first annoying thing was the fried bread was underneath everything so became soggy. Felt like the food came out of a microwave and then sat on a side waiting to be brought out for ages as hash browns were hot on the outside but cold on the inside.All in all not great really.

Very busy cafe..food came slow when ordering something hot to eat. Nice frienfly staff. Food was good. Very clean and tidy. Lots of choice on the menu for a grocery cafe. A bit too noisy for me, but might depend on when you go in tge week.

The café is very understaffed, we had to wait over 40mins on Sat 2nd June and today the 3rd was 1hr. Our lunch was very nearly our tea !!! The staff work very hard, but are fighting a losing battle. This is not the only time this has happened, it is the norm. The café is well used please employ more staff. Thank you

Food is quite cheap and ok in general. No labelling of sandwiches at all, so had to work out what the fillings were. Luckily we don't have any food allergies!
