Decent Wetherspoons, friendly staff, food and drink reasonably priced and of a consistent quality. Clean environment, rarely any issues with waiting for food or drink, the atmosphere is inviting and there's a large external area.

It's a decent Wetherspoon adjacent to the river. Plenty of tables downstairs with more upstairs as well as outside (when it's warm enough). Just across from the cinema and a five minute walk from the train station. Great value decent quality food that you can order from your table with the app. What's not to like?

This large budget chain pub has plenty of outside seating overlooking the River Wensum.Or if you prefer sitting indoors, the upstairs area is usually quieter, at least in the mornings.I've found the service reasonably fast and friendly, while the food is of the usual Wetherspoons standard. And if you're into real ales, there's often something new to try. Also, there are coffee machines both upstairs and downstairs. At weekends, it all becomes rather hectic.

Arrived early afternoon for a meal and a drink. I was using my wheelchair, for which my usual Wetherspoons is totally unsuitable. We parked reaonably close in the multistory car park. The main doors were plenty wide enough to allow a wheelchair to enter and there was space between the table that allowed the wheelchair to pass easily. It was moderately busy. Ordered our food via the app which was served in good time. The food was reasonably priced and the usual quality.

Awful Service.Waited 30 mins for the drinks, came to ask where they are. I’ve been informed they were sent upstairs 5 mins prior… but they were sitting just on the side of the bar- forgotten by the staff. And the delay was, I was told, essentially because I’m sat upstairs. Ridiculous service. Slow. The classic burger came with “salad” inside… genuinely a couple of tiny leaves in the bun.

Came here for a quick bite today. Such a shame the coffee machine isn't more accessible for someone who has to use a mobility scooter. As can't even walk. Sat at a table that hadn't been cleaned. The girl bought my drink over and didn't even bother cleaning it. Be a while before I'm back here again.

Not too busy at 11.30am on Tuesday. Was surprised at how clean and quiet it was. Tables and chairs very spaced out, tea and coffee area also clean and uncluttered.Toilets are upstairs, several cubicles also very clean and tidy. Food came quickly and very reasonably priced.Staff at bar and bringing food to the table were very helpful and friendly. Seating areas were quickly cleaned as soon as a person left.Would return as I haven't been here for about 10 years.

In general i don't like to leave negative reviews, as I try to be understanding and focus on the good parts of an experience, but the service here was pretty bad. There were a lot of staff behind the bar (maybe 6 or 7) who didn't seem very interested in serving customers, very frustrating when it's not very busy. We ordered drinks and a couple of bowls of chips on the app... the chips came out in good time and were very tasty... the drinks didn't arrive and had to be chased with staff at the practically empty bar. We had to return later as my son left his coat on our earlier visit, and this is the bit that has prompted this review...We went to the bar where 3 staff were chatting to ask for the coat, they looked at us, ignored us, and continued their talk. My husband had to literally interrupt their chat to get their attention. I understand pubs have quiet times so staff may not always be busy, and orders get forgotten, but the rubbish service and rudeness combined are a real let down. We love Spoons.... but not this one.

Been here a few times now. Really enjoy it and really just go for the food when I'm staying over. Food and drink is great and it has a vibrant feel at night. Doesn't feel too dodgy at night and I felt safe. Food and drinks orders to tables are generally pretty quick as well.

Very impressed with my first visit to this one overlooking the river and modern architectural landscape. The local football team were playing at home, so it was rather busy with plastic glasses. No trouble though.I stayed for two drinks.I would like to return one day
