The Boars in South Norfolk

Best place to go if you have all the time in the world and don't mind waiting to be served, waiting a while between courses. The food is delicious, thought it was a little expensive but I could just be a little out of touch. The serving staff were very nice however they could be more proactive. Our party did not arrive at the same time . The first to arrive had drinks orders taken the rest had to wait until the food order was taken. Trying to catch the eye of the staff standing talking at the bar was impossible

Awesome pub not to far out of Norwich. Good real ale and great food. Turn up on a Tuesday night and your meal is a tenner. Proper value for money 💰

A short menu of delicious food including sharing plates for starters or tapas style, classics like cod and chips (crispest batter and delicious chips) moules, steak, burgers etc. Imaginative desserts including spiced chocolate pot (really moreish).Cosy fire, friendly and professional service and a relaxed atmosphere.Only downside is limited parking but you can bump up on the pavement down the main road.Worth a 60 mile round trip for dinner!!

A very pleasant pub with warm surroundings. A decent menu but beware the burgers are big for kids so you can ask for smaller ones. The camembert was enjoyed by all and they have a selection of non alcoholic cocktails which were exciting and tasty. If I had one small wish it was that the mains menu could have been a little more adventurous but I appreciate it's difficult to cater for all tastes. The starters looked great. The staff were amazingly helpful and tried really hard to make our visit enjoyable.

This was the first time for us at the Boars and it was amazing. Lovely people good food and great surroundings. Was loved it so much we went back the following day.

Really nice food.Kids burgers got wolfed down and my girls said they were lovely.The boy had roast beef and again, loved it.The wife had the veggie pasta and loved it.I had the piri piri chicken and loved it, zesty, tangy and cooked well.Pudding wise, the treacle tart was the closest to how my gran used to make it when I was a young pup.High quality pub grub, job done.I look forward to our next trip, we all left saying it was really nice with no complaints.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Couple of lads served us and where very friendly. Food was exquisite, I had a burger which was divine and the Mrs had a steak which looked even better. 10/10 would highly recommend

Been a few times but the quality is very mixed sometimes it's good other times it's pretty poor quality and tasteless. Will be avoiding for the time being going forward. Nice staff and setting otherwise but overpriced for mediocre food

Amazing food! Great Service. Been on my second visit, and will definately be back. Food is well thought out, great fusion of flavours. Ideal for any night including special occasion. Best food I've eaten in Norfolk in the past 20 years of living here.
