I don't usually leave 2 star reviews, but sadly I was left with no option. The only redeeming quality was the lovely service. There was no effort extended to accommodate any requests, the poached eggs were over cooked, the hollandaise straight out of a packet, the spinach was bitter, the coffee was wateryWhilst also being served with lava hot milk. Hopefully this was a one off.

Nice place, easily accessible and friendly people. The menu has plenty to like. I had a hungry breakfast which is probably not the best thing on the menu. Pancakes with sausage, bacon, scrambled egg.The sausage and bacon were good. The scrambled egg was forgotten about and then when they remembered was inedible.. made in a microwave I think. The pancakes were solid, I could have frisbee'd them against a wall and been certain they would survive.. probably pre cooked. The syrup was golden not maple.. which is my bad it did say that on the menu I just didn't notice. But it's not the same as maple.Price is reasonable but I probably wouldn't go again when there is such good competition.

Very nice little spot for brunch surrounded by the animals. Reasonable prices for the amount of food.. amazing hash browns and eggsellent sausages!

Disappointing experience. Three in our group. One of us wanted sausage and mash, but asked for a child's portion as they can't eat much, however told that it was against COMPANY POLICY and would have to have an adults portion. We went somewhere else later on that day and they had an oap menu, same as main but smaller portions. The bacon of my all day breakfast was unrecognisable, and the eggs I had must have been the smallest they could find. There is a sign near the counter warning that when busy waiting time for food could be long, however there were few people in the café but we waited a long time for a breakfast and 2x sausage and mash.Company Policy has made us decide not to return.Given 2 stars because place was clean and staff were polite.

Brilliant place to visit for your lunch/ dinner. Food is fantastic. Staff very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend a visit.

Although the setting is lovely and the food very nice, it could have been a much better experience. The room was quite chilly. We were not asked if everything was ok, once and having got eye contact to order more drinks, we sat amongst empty cups etc until the end. These should have been cleared. At one point there were four members of staff behind the counter, chatting, so it was not an under staffing issue. When we left we were not thanked for our custom or hoped to see again soon. Sadly, although the food was nice, service definitely let this establishment down.I hope my comments will be taken as constructive criticism to make some small, but necessary changes.

Good quality breakfasts, good quality service, pleased that I've had the opportunity to finally get to eat there with recent changes of working times and destinations. They open at 0830, so usually my finish times wouldn't allow for popping in, but worth a visit if you're in the area and in need of that morning fill of quality munch before a day in the office, or out in the fields, or anywhere else ....

Visited the cafe yesterday and really disappointed. Eggs overcooked, cold pancakes, burnt bacon. Children's pancakes didn't come with syrup, told it was extra. Staff all talking really loud and didn't ask how are food was. Generally disappointed as this place used to be good. Pricing was still higher then most cafes.

Wow! Amazing chicken burger, chips, real onion rings and coleslaw (as well as great view when sat outdoors). Jacket potato was average, ie no crispy skin, so would avoid. As rating for chicken burger and chips, has to be 5 stars as one of the best I’ve ever had
