The Cock Inn at Barford in South Norfolk

Need to change their name to the Polar inn as their food is nothing but frozen tasteless rubbish.Burgers can’t be cooked to order because they're frozen, mozzarella cheese dripping in grease, undercooked garlic bread (how do you even get that wrong) kids dippers dry and gross ! completely over priced!I would have complained to the crew of teenagers but they made me feel like I was in the wrong when asking for a side of dip!Complete waste of money, it’s so dated and it’s obvious you only really care about your senior citizens who probably still tip because half their taste buds are missing and it’s probably easy for them to chew on your mushy burgers

Nice pub, friendly staff and good service. Wide selection of food options on the menu all at a reasonable price. My scampi, chips and peas was lovely. Cost £11

We came in with a big clunky electric wheelchair and the staff were amazing. Very welcoming pub, lovely staff and good food. If I'm ever in the area again I'd be happy to come back

Moved to taverham a couple of years ago now but have never been in till recently , and have been in about 3 times since xmas and had a pleasant experience each time , staff have been friendly and the food has been lovely , will certainly be visiting alot more as nice to have somewhere close we can go and enjoy the atmosphere xx and a little fact many years ago and I talking around 30 to 40 years my uncle ran the pub and lived upstairs with his family ♥️

We were greeted with a smile and taken to our table. That was clean and very well laid out with everything that you needed. We both had steak and ale pie and oh boy that was perfection the pastry light and crumblie the meat tender with a beautiful flavour, veg cooked just right and the flavour of the gravy was to die for. The staff were excellent came and asked if everything was ok. Couldn’t fault a thing keep it up. Thank you

Warm, comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Friendly, cheerful and efficient staff. Very tasty food which was lovely and hot when received which is definitely a plus compared to some establishments about the area. Will be back again.

Had a lovely vegetarian meal here with my partner and we were impressed by the amount of options for vegan/veggie and staff were very friendly. Would recommend

We decided to book here because of the 30% main meals, and always enjoyed the food. We booked in advance as there was a few of us, and was asked to email over a pre order, which we did the day before our booking. On arrival we were shown to our table, and once everyone was there I asked our server to let the kitchen know we were ready. All meals came out perfectly, and we were all very happy! We then decided to get desserts which were also lovely! Everyone had an enjoyable time, and we couldn’t fault it!

Great place with good food, excellent selection of desserts (highly recommend sticky toffee pudding!) and decent play area for kids. Spacious, clean toilets, very friendly stuff.
