Lovely staff need a good mug of tea, we got a super mug of tea, will be going again.

Small but convenient coffee shop serving light refreshments. Vegan option included, together with sandwiches, jacket potatoes and cakes.

Just a short walk from where I’m staying in Wymondham and on a Sunday morning checked for somewhere to have breakfast. They are situated on the Main Street about 100m down from the market square, on the right hand side. Definitely COVID aware and check that you had signed in using QR code, or signed in with personal details.Warm welcome for the ladies working and offered to sit where I liked. The menu is quite comprehensive, but it is t too full to be overwhelming. They cater for all the main food allergies and choice, that I could see on the menu.Plenty of room inside to accommodate wheelchair access, however due to COVID, they are only offering 5 tables inside and 1 outside. Tall clear screens between all tables, which was nice to be able to watch life go by.The breakfast was very good indeed and a lot bigger than I was expecting. It tasted good and was hot and the beans nearly had me gasping for air 😂😂.Would I come again?DefinitelyWill be here next weekend, as I leave for work before they open.

Called in for a light snack during the wymondam vintage day .It was very busy but the service was good and the food was value for money ( baguette and panini ) . I was with my daughter and 4 month old grandson , we took up a lot of space and sat on a table for 6 as this was the only table available . The owner was very welcoming . Will call in again when I'm visiting wymondam 👍😀

I visited this establishment with my young son hoping to get a decent cooked breakfast.The cafe had a good atmosphere, my hopes were high. I ordered two cooked breakfasts and an apple juice and hot chocolate.When our breakfasts arrived, we saw that there were no eggs. After eventually getting someone’s attention I mentioned this. I was told “Oh, they must be still in the oven”Oh cripes, this is not a good sign.Sure enough our eggs turned up like lumps off rubber, pretty much inedible. I did mention this as they were given to us, but the stroppy waiter just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. I held back from saying anything further. We ate our breakfasts, but. They were so greasy! I have photos they were that bad!On paying the stroppy waiter shrugged his shoulders again, by now, I just had to leave, to say I was angry is an understatement. Especially after paying £20 for this experience. To be fair, the owner I assume, offered to refund me for the food, but by now I just wanted to get out of there.Small tip, get a new customer focused waiter, not a stroppy rude one that you have now.

I have visited this cafe many times over the years, I like the lovely 1940's feel and have always been impressed with the friendly service, good coffee, and the lovely fresh scones. This has obviously changed, the woman who served me was less than friendly, not rude but basically indifferent. The coffee was still good, but the scone! Awful! Clearly not fresh, horrible and dry and inedible. It's surely a well known fact that you have to serve scones fresh and they can never be kept until the next day. Won't be visiting again.

Went to the coffee shop with my family and it was wonderful. I've heard so much about this place and so glad I've been.The cafe is busy (and I can see why). I had a tasty milkshake and breakfast.The staff were friendly. The place was super clean and the atmosphere was amazing.10/10 to the new owners- you've done a wonderful job.This place is fab! Love love loveI'd definitely come again and bring friends.

You know what.. I have to express my disappointment. I live very close to this cafe, I don't use it everyday but i do eat here. The food us always very good and service too. But today, I ain't happy! Not only did I not receive my glass of water, the eggs were undercooked and fried (supposed to be scrambled) no beans, instead they arrived later in a very small quantity in a bowl. There was a tomato on the plate when I asked not to be, no extra mushrooms instead they turned up in a bowl later on. The bottom of the plate was in a pool of black mushroom water which had made everything soggy particularly the toast. No knife and fork until I asked where they were.. I basically had a 1 sausage, 1 bacon and a very small portion of beans. I was not offered a refund, instead I was made aware that the menu had changed including prices (original menu supplied on the table not the new one). I was charged 5.50 for my breakfast which apparantly under the new menu which I wasn't aware of, it should have been 5.75. The waitress said "well you had a discount so that should suffice". 25p!! In the end, the kind lady who didn't really listen to what I saying, gave me back just 1 pound, because otherwise it would have messed up her till.The moment I walked back in to express my disappointment in a polite manner, I heard them talking about looking after their customers. How ironic.Have you changed hands?I'm still hungry!!! 😠😠😠

I have been here a lot and always loved the food and especially the cheese scones however today I cannot eat it, nor can my Nanna. It's gloopy sticks to your mouth dosent taste of cheese at all. Very dissapointed.
