The feathers is one of those pubs you remember visiting as a kid with your parents and (for me anyway) 30 years later when walking in nothing has changed. This is a good thing as it has kept its old traditional feel but still manages to feel fresh. The feathers doesn't get talked about as much as some of the other pubs in wymondham which I feel is unjust. As you can always tell a good pub buy how busy it is and the feathers is always busy but the locals will always make space for you and even suggest good ales. Staff are lovely and food is good. Were else can you get Steak and kidney pud these days. Nice under cover garden and dogs welcome. Only one thing I miss is the gass mask that used to be hanging on the wall.

A very friendly and cosy atmosphere , no matter what the season.Nice food and always a good selection of real ales, always in good condition and reasonably priced.Dogs welcomed too with well behaved owners on lead!Nice paved beer garden for when its sunny but covered for when it isn't..

Very traditional pub & a very warm welcome from Frances; good menu and good food at reasonable prices & served with a smile too. Beer is kept well which means I don't have to resort to lager from the pump in order to enjoy a glass or three. Is now included on our list of regular places to stagger back from....

This is a phenomenal pub. Very unassuming from the outside, but inside the place feels warm, comfortable and inviting, with 4 or 5 well kept real ales and a good assortment of keg beers & spirits. There is a very relaxed vibe here, with varying groups of people enjoying their drinks and chatting to each other and to the bar staff - the whole place feels like one big happy family. The customers seem to cover all aspects of the drinking spectrum, from gentlemen of a certain vintage, to middle aged couples, to small groups of men talking about work at the bar, through to the younger 20-something crowd. It's such a breath of fresh air to see this and is a credit to the owners, who are obviously running their business with passion and attention to detail. The Feathers is more than just a pub, it really feels like the hub of the Wymondham community, without ever feeling like a "local pub for local people". The Feathers is a must visit if you're ever in the area.

Fantastic welcome on arrival at this lovely pub. Great pint of Nelsons and how good to be able to go to a pub and just order a sandwich. Served on white bread with crisps these it was tasty with good quality ingredients. Good to see that the bar interior is little changed.

Very nice little suburban pub, welcoming staff, real fire and a nice selection of beer. The ones I had were well kept and quite cheap. Dog friendly.
