The Garden Tea Rooms in South Norfolk

We made our first visit today and we’re certainly not disappointed! The setting is beautiful in the heart of the countryside, made even more special by the sunshine this morning! Staff were so welcoming and attentive, whilst we only had a cup of tea, the menu of cakes, scones and light lunches looked very appetising! Definitely on my list of favourite Norfolk Tea Rooms but booking definitely advised if going late morning or lunchtime.

Beautiful setting and good service. Wide selection of sandwiches and decent offer for afternoon tea! Drinks menu pretty good and they play good music in background 😃

Lovely tea room, attentive staff and delicious food.

It's nice but for an afternoon tea it closes early at 3pm and you need to book at least 24 hours in advance.

Nice food, conscientious staff, great location.I had the salmon and cream cheese sandwiches, which came with a side salad. Everything was tasty, though in my last sandwich I experienced what I can only describe as some kind of grit, as if something had gotten into the bread while it was being produced. My overall opinion of The Orangery is that it's a nice place to go for lunch, or just tea, with staff that seem to want to make sure that you, as a customer, are satisfied. Absolutely lovely location. Would go again!

Lovely picturesque location for a special birthday treat of afternoon tea with daughter and granddaughter. The afternoon tea however was a little underwhelming with only two different fillings for the finger sandwiches. Most of the cakes, though delicious, were mainly bite size. A little overpriced for the offering. No complaints about the service as the staff were friendly and attentive.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here! The staff are very lovely and accommodating and wore PPE at all times. Tables were adequately spaced apart and payment was taken from the table without having to go in the building. The food was absolutely delicious and more than enough for 2 with a big pot of tea. Tables under cover with heaters are available for more overcast days. Would 100% recommend and will be visiting again!!
