Such a good pub the food is AMAZING and it allows children if you are bringing them you can choose from many different drinks plus food it is a great place

My colleagues from Italy suggested the Iron Duke, I said over my dead body and had a quick look at local pubs, found the Green Dragon. Excellent meal, nicely decorated pub, good service. Thanks!

A nice pub which was clean and felt really welcoming as soon as we walked in. A lovely couple of drinks to finish off our evening out!

When The Green Dragon re-opened a few years ago it was a bonus to the people in Wellington, it provided for the first time a safe family friendly environment with consistently good home cooked food. After my recent experience I will not be returning, I feel the whole ethos of the pub has changed. A very different clientele, & not family friendly now, such a shame.

Super friendly atmosphere. Cosy rooms with clean shower room ensuite. TV and a kettle provided as well as a hairdryer. Restaurant choice was great and the busy tables mid-week were a good sign Breakfast was included and was delicious. Highly recommend for any plant-based travellers visiting the area.

Great location, lovely warm welcoming staff, cosy room, been before, no shampoo or conditioner just a bar of soap this time, after 11.30pm it's quite. Parking is 4 minute walk £2.70 for 24 hour and its very safe place to park overnight. Breakfast seems to have changed a little.

Wow just amazing love staying here and the new manager is so attentive, always friendly and lovely and clean. The breakfast included is absolutely amazing great value for money. I highly recommend this lovely place. Fabulous I'll be back

Went here Saturday with friends as we used to like it, not now. Bar staff not welcoming at all. One seemed like she didn't want to be there and the other(new landlady I believe) just didn't speak. Awful atmosphere very unwelcoming and we certainly won't be back. Only reason I gave it 2 stars was the food was decent

Friendly, efficient service and a nice atmosphere. Food was basic pub fare but very well executed. My fish and chips had skinless fish in a crisp batter with really good chips. This is actually quite a tricky dish to get exactly right and I was quite impressed.Good espresso as well.
