Normally very good but today... average. £2.50 for 1 slice of toast and long wait for food. Not the usual standard i'm afraid.😏

Have lunch here about once a month. Good service and food quality.

Visited today for the first time, service was polite and friendly and attended to quickly. Good range of things to choose from on the menu. I had a lovely sandwich, bread was very fresh and portion size was great, plenty of filling and side salad/coleslaw.Peppermint tea was served in a nice sized teapot, enough for 3 cups.Recommendations would be for salad dressing in a pot to add yourself. Or a choice between salad or crisps perhaps.Thank you

Cannot comment on the quality of the food as unfortunately we had to leave due to the wait. The staff were friendly and helpful and the drinks we had were very nice. Unfortunately the hour long wait without receiving our food was simply too long, had we been informed of the wait time we would have found somewhere else.

Very dissapointing, we booked a table for 1.20 on Sunday . We arrived and were seated at our table by one of the members of staff. By 1.55 we still hadn't even been asked what we would like to drink or eat and so after waiting 45 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone we were forced to leave as we had to take our son swimming at 2.30. We used to use this cafe regularly but the service was very dissapointing this time especially as we rung and booked a table. If we knew we wouldn't have even had a drinks order taken within nearly an hour we would have found somewhere else.

My wife and I visited the Lemon Tree cafe today for lunch. We had a sandwich each and it was superb, the bread was really fresh with plenty filling and a very good salad. The coffee was full of flavour and hot. We will be back.

Service good, food and drink fine.2 Toilets out in back yard a bit off-putting especially as not hot water in one of them.Shouldn't confuse old and quaint with not fit for purpose.

Incompetent but polite staff. Food was ok, but came incorrectly, and had forgotten items, took ages to come. Could hear other customers complaining about service. Manager was flapping. No leadership for the young staff. Wouldn't recommend.

I used to love this cafe but now I am surprised that their cheese scones etc are not vegetarian. When I asked there seemed to be confusion between vegan and vegetarian. Trying to explain was useless. They didnt want to know!!They must have to go out there way to get cheese that isnt vegetarian as most cheddars are.
