A friendly and welcoming rural village pub. Situated opposite the staithe making it popular with boaters, locals and visitors to the area. They serve food. The menu is somewhat limited to 'pub grub' but the chef adds special touches to make it more interesting. Be aware that the portions are very generous so make sure you go with an appetite! We particularly enjoyed the sundaes we had for dessert, extremely calorific but tasty.

Excellent food at a good price. Staff were fantastic. Special mention to Sara and especially Marion who went over and above by going to the shop in the next village for us to get supplies for one of our party who was unwell. They would not accept payment of any kind for either their kindness or the supplies.

Went for Sunday lunch as Sarah Mai was making her debue here. We took Aunt & Uncle as iit was Aunt's birthday. The staff were wonderful, so great, could not do enough to accommodate us and really wanted to look after us. Drinks and food were excellent and served quickly. We had a fabulous afternoon. There was a great atmosphere and the landlord made everyone laugh, such great staff. Highly recommended and we will be back!!

We visited The New Inn whilst on holiday on The Broads in early October. We had moored on Short Dyke which is about a ten minute walk from the pub, which was just as well given the size of the portions. The menu was not massive and the food typically 'pub grub.' The portions though were generous, at reasonable prices and neither of us could manage a dessert. We found the interior of the pub slightly sterile, lacking in character, but the beer and cheery service made up for that.Yet another definite for when we are back on The Broads.
