Had a great meal celebrating my daughter-in-law 30thStaff very good and helpful with one waitress knowing how one of the dishes is prepared and cooked.

We booked and visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday evening having looked at the menu and prices online. The staff were very friendly, helpful and genuinely happy from the beginning until the very end. We were given the option of a quieter table, which we opted for and although tucked away the service was still high.The food was frankly outstanding, from the lovely halloumi and white bait nibbles, a very tasty mushroom risotto to an epic sticky toffee pudding.We will definitely be revisiting next time we are in the area. Many thanks again to all the lovely staff.

Reached out on several occasions to try and book an occasion for a birthday. Called and emailed numerous times and no one responded to to me. I also came into to the pub to chase this up and only received a response 3 weeks later, resulting in a final email saying they couldn’t do it due to not be able to manage the booking in the kitchen (4 weeks after my original enquiry). It’s disappointing that they have these areas available and do not have the staff to be able to offer them to their customers, but I’m mainly disappointed in the lack of communication and enthusiasm for a group booking of 30 people.

Can't fault this place. The people,food,and a very well equipped out door seating area. My Sunday roast (vegetarian) was so refreshingly different. Celeriac in a mouth watering light crispy crumb. With roasted carrots,potatoes,and cabbage Cauliflower & Broccoli Cheese topped with a huge Yorkshire pudding 😋

Came here for lunch for Father's Day and ordered the roast beef (minus cauliflower cheese). Really enjoyed it and all the produce tasted fresh and excellently cooked. Can't fault the service also as they were very accommodating.

We had a lovely meal out at local restaurant it was good foods and goods services all staff very friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended Roasted pork shoulder yum yummm.

We booked a lunch time meal here. Service was first class. We all ordered the Burger and Fries. Burger was homemade being succulent with melted cheese and dressings WONDERFUL!!! Fries cooked to perfection.SERVICE Was also first class with follow up to see we were happy with our meal.DECOR and ambience was peaceful and tranquil.
