Visited this pub for the first time last week with a friend it was ok but not brilliant. They didn’t have the ham and cheese toasty which was on the menu and I was looking forward for that. Fish finger sandwich was decent but nothing special. Nice view of the water and staff seemed smiley.

Celebrated my birthday here yesterday. 12 in our party and it couldn't have gone better. The food was excellent, the service great. Everyone enjoyed it. It helped make my day special. Thank you

Stopped by when everyone was dumped off the train in a storm. I honestly don't think we could have had a warmer welcome. The landlady was already onto it, organising taxis for the weary travellers to be able complete their journey. Just had time for a nice lunch and a couple of pints, and a warm up by the fire. Thank you so much for your help. We will definitely be back, in the summer to try out the terrace area on the waterside. 👍

Lovely winters day but not serving food outside.Asked to have our table cleaned the owner was quite rude saying she was busy and on holiday anyway. I had the sandwich lunch but no brown bread. Bread that came did not have butter it was marg I think. Then the peaceful pub atmosphere was ruined by TV being turned on loudly for a rugby match. If they said they were a sports bar I wouldn't have gone. Son and daughter enjoyed their burgers but would not go again.

Great location on the Mere. Too cool to sit outside on our visit but the view across the water is relaxing. Usual Greene King pub menu with well prepared and served food. No parking on site but the car park on Park Road adjacent to the childrens play area the other side of the Mere is a short footpath walk from the pub. Will visit again.

Visited the Waterfront Inn yesterday - Sat 12th Feb - What an amazing place. Delicious food, service great and the staff were so friendly, Millie the waitress was especially efficient and so very helpful and hard working.

What an amazing experience! Ticked all the right boxes. Great table with the waterfront view. Massive portions of food. Staff were so attentive in making sure everything was perfect. Happy singing chef from the kitchen. And cool music vibes in the restaurant. Perfect Sunday lunch out. 🤩

Amazing food, amazing service. Truly enjoyed the food and even got given tubs to take away what we didn’t eat. Generous portions of good food. Will defo be back for more good food and drinks ❤️

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a good dinner at this pub in Diss. I had the rump steak skewers and my girlfriend had ham, egg and chips. The meals were reasonably priced and well cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a glass of wine and a soft drink. The setting on the banks of the Mere is attractive and the pub seemed clean and tidy.
