This is our second visit to The White Hart and unfortunately both visits left us feeling extremely dissatisfied. The decor is great, the atmosphere is great and the staff were warm and friendly however... The food was awful. We ordered burgers that were drier than the desert and a beef brisket that was so dry and flavourless with a very suspect BBQ sauce. I'm also pretty sure that the cut of beef was not one to be used as brisket. The brownie was average and the pear sticky toffee pudding was dry and only tasted of cinnamon, no sauce!I don't think we would have been as digruntled apart from the fact that the price point was that of a much better establishment.

A nice pub inside, olde world style. Good selection of drinks, especially gin. Friendly waitresses. That's all the good I have to say I'm afraid. The seat cushion at the table was damp and the bench underneath was hard and uncomfortable, I had to as the waitress for another cushion. The room was also far too dark. The food is fairly overpriced. The belly pork starter was dry and tasteless and the crackling rock hard, totally inedible. Breaded mushrooms were overcooked and the portion of fries were quite small. I definitely won't return for food.

The food was absolutely devine and the restaurant is beautiful. Service is very kind and helpful. The only thing I have to say is that I wish the food didnt take so long to come. Other than this, I would highly recommend.

Place feels like its ran by a bunch of snotty teenagers . If it wasn't being back home after a long time and having good company around me I would of walked straight out and headed to the social club. Waited along time to order my food and when paying was left wondering why I stayed. On the plus side the burger was excellent just a shame the out side staff were not as good

We were looking for a bite to eat and stumbled across this pub. Really friendly staff shown to a table and served promptly but not too soon by the gently spoken Scotsmen. Cloudy Cider ordered along with the Nigerian 🇳🇪 platter. Wow! What a revelation to the taste buds. Succulent seasoned Pork ribs, Seasoned Corn cobs, Seasoned Chicken with a Coleslaw & Chilli Salsa. It tasted incredible & all so succulent and ever so moorish. He had the Cranberry and Almond Frangipane Tart & Creme Bruliee with lovely Cappuccino & Latte. The 3 hour drive over and then returning home was worth the visit alone for this feast. We definitely want to return and possibly stay in what look like equally lovely rooms available upstairs.Congratulations to the people running this place and working there. We wish sll nothing but success.

Spent New Year's Evening here. Had a great time. Locals were really friendly. Food was fantastic, dinner and breakfast. Entertainment brilliant, great atmosphere. Staff were brilliant especially Raphaelle who made us really welcome quickly informing us of a cancellation on a room when it came up. We stayed in the Hunters Lodge room which was really comfortable, clean and decorated with great style. In particular we liked the dog, huge headboard and shotgun lights. Look forward to going back sometime.

I left still hungry... Having had a starter, mains and pudding I was surprised to find that I still had room for more at the end of the evening.Service was excellent, restaurant nicely quiet and food all tasted fine. Portions were not over generous and although I had the xmas buster burger it did not do its title justice.I would however go back and definitely recommend this place.

We had a fabulous stay here last Saturday. Staff were fantastic, helpful and curtious. Food is excellent. Room was rustic with modern touches and a very comfortable bed. Such an old historic building with modern and stylish twist. Wonderfully unique. Bravo 👏

I wish I could give this establishment 10/10 - or more! We stop in here when we are up from London to visit our parents and we have never had a bad experience. Lovely staff, gorgeous atmosphere and decor and the food - never fails to leave us speechless! Such an innovative and well executed menu, always delivered and presented in a memorable way. Definitely one of the highlights of Hingham!

Went here on a Thursday evening for a meal with family and was well impressed. It was busy and we had to book ahead, but there are several rooms and plenty of space. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Prices were reasonable but there were some creative offerings on the menu and a good range of drinks. I just wish I lived closer; I would call in regularly!
