Wife and I are publicans at a local village pub.We were very impressed with firstly the fact that they could squeeze us in last second without booking.Service was very friendly and efficient even during busy time.Food was perfect. And everything else we saw pass us from the kitchen looked amazing, Good portions, No long waits. Good value considering the lovely atmosphere provided and service quality. And they don’t automatically add the service charge to your bill. We tipped them deservedly.Staff smiles and chatty 😁 and a good feel about the place.Great to see a good pub thriving.Well done White Hart.

Again, the White Hart excelled itself on Sunday. There were six of us and the staff were professional, fast and courteous. The food was excellent as always and even though we all tweaked our orders the staff just tapped the amend into their tablet and it was sorted without any fuss. Be warned, if you get the cheeky dessert slice with the Maltesers in, you’ll need to release another notch on your belt, then have a bit of a kip around an hour later…

Me and my partner have been here a couple of times, first with a reservation and the second time without. Firstly, the food is amazing, quality and quantity. First time we booked we were seated in the attached gazebo which also had a good fire going meaning we were nice and warm even though outside was quite cold. When we didn't have a reservation they made it clear they can fit us in but they needed the table two hours from when we arrived, more than enough time to have food and enjoy the visit. We would highly recommend here for a nice meal.

Excellent Sunday roast. Proper Yorkshire puddings and perfectly cooked veg. Hubby had the steak and ale pie and said was very tasty he especially liked the sweet potato fries. I am glad we booked because at least 2 couples were turned away while we were there. Will definitely be back.

Had a very good meal here as usual.Note the portions are seriously generous so go hungry, failing that one of our party was able to have a smaller portion on request.The staff are friendly and efficient. The pub itself is all oak beams and full of character.Will certainly go again, strongly recommended.
