Zaks Poringland Diner in South Norfolk

We booked a table for 12 which was quite cramped. Staff efficient and friendly, just lacked fine details eg: food came out but no cutlery or napkins so had to call waitress over then wait for these while food was getting cold. Asked for sauces which took ages to arrive. Meals were ok, I feel the burgers are not as tasty as they used to be. I had heard they buy them from 'burgers plus' rather than making their own. Burger didnt taste freshly made, more like a processed burger, I wonder if they come in frozen🤔. It's so easy to make homemade burgers so not sure why this cant be done especially when paying £13!Overall we enjoyed the evening but more attention to the basics would be appreciated.

Went lastnight as a treat for end of Sat's for one of my children, staff were lovely, food was yummy only problem I had was one of the types seats they had there were so uncomfortable , but everything else was perfect.

Hi to the whole Zaks Team!Can I just say that on the 18th Feb we had a table of 10 + a high chair instead of the originally booked 17 people.The welcome we received was fantastic, we were shown to our area (table) and were handed over to Lewis G.He made us all feel so relaxed and happy that some of the allergies the party had were adhered to correctly and sympathetically. This is such a rarity nowadays its actually a massive thumbs up when someone goes out of their way to make sure the meals chosen were absolutely 100% suitable for them.Nothing was too much trouble for the team who served us and the whole outing was relaxed from start to finish. I just thought I'd write a quite detailed review because sometimes, its just worth it.Thank you very much indeed for a lovely meal, fantastic service and the way the team went straight to cleaning areas properly after someone had left their table (other parties who went to Zaks) was brilliant and well noticed.See you again soon!

Great for a teenager's birthday meal. Service was excellent. Good that all the burgers are available as a vegetarian option and that there's a choice of what type of veggie burger you'd like e.g. nut burger, spicy bean or mediterranean. Good value as burgers were 2 for 1 at the time we went.

The waitress was very nice and helpful. The meal was OK, we had potatoe skins to start and they were very good, always recommend them. I then had the salmon and it didn't taste very fresh, it tasted like the frozen microwave salmon you get at the supermarket. The fires where good as well as the coleslaw. We shared a brownie and it was good but was quite hard, I like soft gooey brownie but that's just my preference. Zaks is good if you are after a burger and good service. Overall the meal was good but I probably won't have the salmon again.

A really nice American style diner, lovely food and nice staff! Limited parking at the front of the diner but ample round the back. Decor is brilliant. A lot of effort has gone into it. Always clean and tidy.

Amazing food, friendly staff and a great experience

Best place to eat in Norfolk. Been twice now and absolutely loved it every time, would not hesitate at all to drive 40 mins here! The most amazing vegan/veggie options especially the burgers, the moving mountains patty tastes just like beef and my partner who got the meat burger said mine was better. Does not feel like you’re missing out in the group at all as there’s just as many delicious vegan options. Staff always friendly and pretty decor. Get the booths if you can😍Bringing all my friends here for sure

Absolutely amazing! Delicious food, lots of choice, insanely good desserts and really nice staff would really recommend the pecan pie, cookie dough cheesecake and chocolate mountain.

If you want big portions of delicious, American food, then please get yourselves to Zaks! The staff are friendly & accommodating, too. We have had a lovely family meal tonight, thanks to everyone at Zaks.
