Affinity 1777 in Southend-on-Sea

My significant birthday warranted a gathering at home. Affinity 1777 have a buffet menu with extensive choice at a modest price. It wasn't an option for us to cater for the guests so we ordered from Affinity.Delivery was right on time and I was staggered at the quantity and quality of the food. If you are considering a party this is the way to go.Thank-you Richard and Gill.

Had used for our wedding and now celebrating 6 year anniversary. The meal they delivered during lock down was PERFECT. Still hot when we got it and delicious. We'll done to all of the staff still working at this time. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Brilliant service and menu. We went as a large party. With 2 members with a bad dairy and soya allergy. They made every effort to adapt the menu to accomodate our party.They even had coconut based ice cream for desert (they are always resigned to fruit salad normally). If you were not sure. Let me assure you. This place is worth a meal out.

Disappointing visit at lunchtime today. Mum took me out for a treat. Advertising outside showed a lunch snack menu under £5 which consisted of just 3 baguettes with fillings read out by the waitress. Personally I would have preferred to be left a printed list as I forgot the choice after she'd left the table. We chose from the set price main course menu. Good value and lots of choice and was presented beautifully. Low score is due to a complaint I sadly had to make about the vegetable and potato side. Tasteless, overcooked and very wet - even the roast potatoes which were not needed as fish came on a bed of mash. Waitress professionally handled complaint sending back apologies from the chef but no offer of bill reduction or complimentary treat. Sadly we'll be giving this venue a miss for a while xXx

Visited this restaurant for a small family reunion. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making sure the 7 year old with us was happy and serving her food before ours. The food was delicious, everyone enjoying their various meals. Definitely recommend Affinity.

Lovely restaurant, excellent service and the food is freshly cooked and very, very good. I am a wheelchair user and the restaurant has good disabled access, although the toilet access was a bit challenging but the owners were really helpful. I have every intention of going back and would recommend this to anyone who wants good food in comfortable surroundings, staffed by people who really seem to care about making your visit a good one.

First time at the restaurant for my birthday. Very good choice and well cooked and presented food. All the staff are very attentive and friendly. I will certainly go again and recommend to friends and family. Thank you for making my birthday memorable

Lovely family celebration meal !!! Great service and meal. There were 17 of us and everyone was catered for beautifully. Only downside were the desserts. The only 2 that were ordered were terrible and not representative of their dessert titles( ie "pannacotta" could have eaten like a milkshake with a straw.) However the staff were very good and took them off the bill without question which was acceptable. Would definately visit again.

Had a fantastic meal for Mother's Day. Good varied choice including roasts. The food was amazing and the service excellent. Great value for money. Can't recommend highly enough and can't wait to return. Even gave each mother a box of chocolates, which was a lovely touch. A great family restaurant.
