Just had the best Indian meal i've had in years. There were four of us. First time i've been to Ashiana. We thought we'd try it as my son has just bought a house nearby. Staff are friendly and service excellent. The food was served piping hot and we all agreed it was delicious. Will certainly be returning soon .

Had yet another fantastic meal tonight after moving away from the area. Friendly staff fantastic owner and bar staff. Followed up by great food of an excellent standard. Makes it worth travelling that extra Mile to get perfection. 5 star as always.

I have been coming here since it opened. Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing service. Can not recommend it enough!

Ordered from here for the first time. Being a regular for Indian takeaway, this is the best I have tried in the area. Portions are good, quality is fantastic, the food was boiling hot and overall really good value for money. This is now my go to, well done to all Ashiana 👍

I’d like to mention it was likely due to short staff and a busy evening as the restaurant seem to have good reviews. But myself and my partner visited here for the first time on Saturday evening and at first it was lovely. We had a reservation for 7.30pm and were both very hungry. We were seated and were offered drinks and poppadoms which was lovely. But after 1 hour 40 minutes out main dishes still hadn’t arrived despite being a couple not a big group. After this time I asked a waiter (all of who were very friendly and welcoming I can’t deny) how long our food would be. He said he’d find out and then never came and told us. After just under two hours since we arrived, still no mains and we got the hot towels and a dessert menu. At this point we decided to leave as we were both very hungry and very embarrassed in front of the rest of the customers. I think our order was missed on its way to the kitchen. Like i said I don’t think it’s a reflection of their usual service, just a bad day. They gave us our drinks and poppadoms free as an apology and did apologise profusely. It’s just a shame because my partner and I hadn’t been out for an evening to ourselves in about a year.

I usually love this place but tonight decided to go and collect instead of ordering online I literally live 5 mins away ...but I was so Disappointed when I dished up dinner ( which was straight away)because it was all cold and didn't taste fresh at all ....so dissatisfied with it tonight absolutely gutted.... 😢

Stunningly good Indian/Bangladeshi food. Unlike so many other curry shops in the town, the food isn’t drenched in oil, isn’t cooked with sugar to make everything sweet and, if you like, the heat can go up to 11. Huge variety of dishes and the service is impeccable - the owners being lovely as well. Highly recommended!

Real hidden gem for Southend. Flavourful, friendly and fair priced. Will be recommending to my family and friends.Loads on the menu and plenty of veggie options. The veg dupiaza was so full of flavour and paired with a garlic naan was a hit!The waiters made the stay very comfortable and even gave us a drink afterwards on the house. Thanks for the great Monday treat 👍

Great food, lovely staff and great atmosphere. One of my favourite places to have a Indian.
