Billy Hundreds Seafood Restaurant and Tapas Bar in Southend-on-Sea

This is an absolute gem of a restaurant. I live in London so I am spoilt for restaurants but this place stands up to any of the fish tapas places in London. Fantastic location - on the beach, away from the tourism of Southend. I loved it so much I ate there three days in a row. You need to book at busy times.

Popped in for glass of wine and small tapas. All good quality and reasonable price. We went in when kitchen was planned closed for a short period in afternoon but still provided tapas. Staff very friendly and professional. Thanks very much.

Great beach restaurant. Unique in so many ways. 2 week December it was snug beautifully warm, I was so glad to be in from the cold.Great menu : Excellent traditional fish but that leaves you feeling on how I have missed out on those delicious tapas.Check them out great service and the facilities are clean. Fantastic experience from the moment we arrived, with the very friendly, warm, welcoming staff and their brilliant service.The food was some of the best tapas style food that we had ever tasted. Good vibes at this restaurant, tapas food was tasty and delicious. Enjoyed the rum battered sea bass fish and cornish sardines.The desserts Churros and white chocolate cheese cake made locally was delicious too. Just right amount of sweetness.The local Gold wakering ale went well with the food.Staff happy and welcoming.Catered for all needs.Restaurant was clean and tidy.Would go back again for sure...Reserve a table if going, due to its popularity....

Had some delicious food here, and Poppy the waitress was so lovely to meet. The monkfish tacos were the highlight for us and the Sangria which Poppy recommended was absolutely lush !!! Very cute little tapas place and we had a lovely outdoor bench on the beach, really felt like we were away on holiday :)))

Absolutely love this place... Superb food and service... We had a tapas style dinner which was so good we booked for breakfast the next day... We were not disappointed... Very friendly and faultless staff make for a great experience..... It is a 8 minute walk from Southend sea front towards Thorpe Bay... So worth it and popular so make sure and book! It is so worth it....

Went with some friends who live in southend. A real gem on the beach with delicious tapas and it was a very sunny day so we was very happy. Looking forward to going back next time we are in southend 👍
