Breakwater Cafe in Southend-on-Sea

Service was friendly and professional, milkshake was nice, fish and chips were nice and fresh, definitely recommend this place!

Had the mega breakfast which was good, coffee took a little while to arrive as machine was being cleaned, however it was nice. Seafront view very good.

Bad food, bad atmosphere, ok service, a lot of money for what you get.

Only came here for a tea and cake. Really good spot with good views outside. Prices are a little bit high be warning.

Absolutely fantastic. Staff were brilliant, service fast and the food was exceptional. The prices were very resonable considering it's seaside location. Would highly recommend to anyone. Will definitely be returning.

We were served our food after ten minutes which was good but then it all went down hill. We had to ask for our drinks and cutlery. The service was very poor and staff were a waste of space. You would have to pay me to come back. It's a shame your female staff let you down and lost you custom.

Very polite staff had a chocolate waffle they were amazing highly recommend.

I have called into the Breakwater cafe and had beautiful fish and chips here on two occassions when taking a walk along the esplandade on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were helpful and pleasant too. Will happily call in again.

The food is "edible", very slow, overpriced for the lack of quality, dirty floor and most of the staff look like they couldn't care less about anything. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!

Fast food, serving cafe style food. Ice creams, doughnuts, drinks and of course bucket and spades! 😃
