CHILLI GREEN in Southend-on-Sea

We ordered our food at 7pm and it arrived at 10pm!!! Someone called to apologise at 8.45pm - staff shortages etc etc BUT no discount or anything offered. I asked him to cancel as it was too late for us to eat (we ended up eating toast!) but he just said we would need to speak to Just Eat and he couldn't help. Disgusting service and will never use them ago, also it isn't cheap and we paid for delivery!!!

The food is excellent it'll bring happiness in your body. I ordered a curry with a size of ice cream. As I called the restaurant the food came immediately within minutes. The manager on the phone was so soft at heart, and made sure my needs we're met. I would highly recommend.

Did not live up to all the hype, was expecting more from all the advertising. Nice,bit not worth three and a half hour wait for delivery.

Very disappointed with the meal, does not represent value for money. A meal for two cost nearly £50 and we thought it was worth a try for the best take away in Southend and the best curry in England! For us it was the worst meal and it was 40 minutes late!

My order was an hour and fifteen minutes late. When i rang to enquire where my order was the msn I spoke to at the takeaway shop was extremely rude & slammed the phone down. I will never order from there again!

The best Indian I think I have ever had. Their onion bhajis are to die for. Can't recommend them enough.

Very tasty, will definitely order from again. We had lamb tikka starter and a delicious chicken tarka, plus one of the best naan breads I've ever had - light, fluffy and not at all greasy.

Food was hot. When I opened ot it didn't look like the usual korma I have from other indians but it was really really tasty and tasted as a korma. Coconut rice could have been a bit more coconut. Would order again being as it was hot and delicious.

I use this take away from time to time and the quality of the food has been ok, but the last few times I order what I normally have I feel the standard has dropped. I will be looking for another curry house if things don't improve. As their prices are around the same as everyone else!

Just placed my first order from here on recommendation of a friend. I was really. Impressed. They quoted 45 mins to an hour for delivery, but food was delivered within half hour on a busy Friday night. First rate curry. Really good. Definitely be ordering again. Thanks v. much
