Awful customer service!Ordered via Uber eats.Only received 3 cod bites instead of 6.We rang the shop to explain what had happened.They blamed the Uber delivery driver, even though the bag was sealed. They refused to compensate us or send out the further 3 and told us to ring Uber.It’s ridiculous that they would blame the delivery driver for steal 3 x cod bites rather than accept responsibility and help us complete our meal before it all went cold.Won’t go back!Edit - No refund or compensation was offered when we tried to resolve this at the time. Only now mentioned in their response below. We won’t go back, so a won’t need a discount on our next order.

Paulo has finally submitted himself to the barber and looks a lot sharper. Still needs more motorcycle practice though.

I have had bbq ribs in the uk al over , in the USA and Australia and I have to say that Chris’s ribs are the best I’ve ever tasted, tender and full of flavour and I’m not kidding they are the best 👍👍👍😘

Best peri peri chicken ever, don't know about the rest of the menu as that's all I get there but if is half as good as their peri peri sauce it's more than worth the money

Poor Customer service it was like the server didn't want to take our order.The food was not great either the lack of love for serving carried into what can only be described as dismally poor cooked chips and a battered sausage. I wasn't alone my two colleagues were also left reeling with the poor taste of mediocre food. Sad really the gentleman was quite polite but the young lady was rude and the food wasn't worthy of a star.

Best fish & chip shop in the area - wonderful chips. The chicken is also the best..excellent flavour. We only go here.

We love the food from this shop but unfortunately on two occasions recently we have had to cancel the order because food was so late. To day I placed my order at 4pm as soon as the shop opened. Food was set to arrive at 5.50 but by 6 30 we had heard nothing so I rang the shop and found that it hadn’t even left the shop and would be at least another 30-40 minutes! The previous time we ordered and kept being told it was” in the next batch to go with carrier” !It’s a shame because we really like the food but as we are without transport so rely on delivery we will have to look elsewhere .

First time ordering. Fish and chips and chicken bbq. Very generous portion and good flavors without being too fatty.Sorry for the non professional picture but this is the portion size. 3 times my hand and the picture doesn’t do it justice

We ordered twice from Chris' last year (via Uber Eats) and the food was absolutely first class - delicious fish in light, crispy, batter and great traditional chips. However, we ordered again on Friday and unfortunately the quality seems to have gone downhill - the batter was not as good as before but the main issue was the chips. Instead of traditional fish and chip shop chips, they seem to have been replaced with the type of chips that you might find in a work canteen or supermarket own-brand frozen packet. This really spoiled a meal we were looking forward to - I really hope this was some sort of temporary issue due to the shop being really busy but please go back to the excellent chips you used to cook!
