Cubanos Cafe Bistro in Southend-on-Sea

Well after just two visits, I can safely say that Cubano’s is our new favourite local bistro. Situated on a quiet little high street, with plenty of on-street parking, it’s a little oasis of calm. The outdoor seating area on a sunny day, is a lovely place to sit and enjoy their excellent food. The menu is varied, with a specials board that seems to be regularly updated and the prices are very reasonable indeed. Everything we have tried so far has been delicious, but the Seafood salad is definitely top of my list. The staff are friendly and attentive and always happy to accommodate any requests. Would certainly recommend a visit

Had a very nice hot breakfast. Friendly staff with good coffee. A small place with basic chairs and tables inside and out.Would I go there again? Yes.

Excellent little Bistro..Food is on par to up town venues. Had dinner on a Friday night which was lovely. I had the Lamb Rump & my husband the chicken & rib combo. The desserts were also amazing. We will be going again on one of there Friday night Cuban music event.. I'm sure it'll be Excellent..Definitely worth a visit.

Yes, very good food.This little Cubanos has excellent food and drink and fabulous service.Excellent produce and quality.Good price for a full English breakfast.The sausage is very good!I like very much the size of the dish for beans. It is smaller than usual which is just enough from my point of view.The evening menu looks fantastic and I would like to revisit it and enjoy the food.Decorative is wonderful and feels like Cuba.Clean, is still a place for improvement!Staff friendly and attentive.Yes, it is recommended for me.

What a little gem! Great atmosphere, fantastic food and a friendly and personal service. Will definitely be going back - hopefully trying one of the live music nights!

Lovely home cooked sunday roast. I had beef and it was soo tender. Generous portions. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Great little find got lucky they had a cancellation to get a table last night. Great food and great service. And good value considering only handful of tables, already booked to go back again ! Try the tapas ..
