Delish in Southend-on-Sea

Magnificent food I've ever had food like it we are definitely going again From Ruby age 12. As her mum I have to agree. My second visit and dinner just as good as lunch. The sausages and beans with herb bread was outstanding. We'll done chef and all the staff.

Amazing service, a cousy dining place. Food is served quickly and is served with good presentation. Amazing people work here. Food is delicious and prices are reasonable, recommended to everyone

AMAZING FOOD, GREAT PLACE!!. Its already my second visit in this lovely place. Always greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The service was lovely and the quality of food is fresh/excellent and super tasty. Can't wait to go again.

21 of us went here for a wok meal and not one person complained the food was pipping hot and delicious the staff are all very friendly. i would highly recommend this restaurant it is something new and different. just what southend needed

Visited with my partner for date night. Amazing service the staff are very polite and professional.The food is well presented and tasty. We had a cocktail each and the menu held more options than some local venues. A great addition to southend.

Myself and my mum came for breakfast and it was honestly the best breakfast we had ever had! The service was great and had an amazing atmosphere! Can’t wait to come back in the evening to see what that menu is like!

Tried this place the first week of their opening. it ticked all my boxes, from the service I received to the quality of food and also the prices. Also, I really like their concept as it's away from the standard Italian restaurant like other millions out there, so I gave them 5 star * * * * * also because I understand the challenge the owner made into a very "standard sector" as the Italian restaurants are at the moment. Bravi!

I recommend the place. It has good potential to add more variates to Southend Town restaurants.Dis offers something different in terms of Italian food. My husband ordered the Dis Eat breakfast with chicken sausage and he loved it. I ordered pancake but it was pretty basic but I won't hold it against them. Many places offer pancake as an option but they can't go beyond the basic pancake sold in stores.We ordered latte and cappuccino both were made with too much milk. Is this the way it is done in Italy? Maybe next time we can order coffee with double shots.

The food is fantastic! The menu has a lot to offer, containing authentic Italian twists to each meal. The staff are attentive and eager to please, providing a very welcoming atmosphere.We will definitely be coming back! 10/10UPDATE 30/1/22 - We have now sampled all three menus, since my original review, breakfast, lunch and dinner. To say we have been hugely satisfied would be an understatement, the food and tastes are phenomenal and portion sizes are perfect! As ever, the staff were welcoming and catered to our every need. The decor is beautifully done, giving the restaurant a clean and bright presence. Well done DIS!

This place is incredibly over priced for what it is. Seeing as sausage is in the name I was surprised to receive a thin sad looking ‘hot dog’ sausage instead of a decent one. Service seemed chaotic and it really lacked atmosphere. Probably won’t return.
