Been there last night with Family and friends including kids. We reached late and ours was a last order before the restaurant closed. The food is delicious and seems authentic Italian sans the Orange juice which was from can and the server was honest about it. The staff are simply great, esp Rita, who is a gem of a person. She knows how to get a smile on kids face and went all the way to do that. Thanks for making our evening special despite this being last order!Highly recommended!

Food was all good, very tasty and definitely all seemed fresh. Service was very friendly and welcoming, attentive throughout the meal. Represented good value for money we thought. Service not included but definitely made sure to leave a tip!

Have been visiting here for around 20 years. Always received a warm friendly welcome and constantly provided with the best quality food and service. On a nice day you can get a good view across the Thames estuary.I look forward to trying their new restaurant!

Went here last night with my daughters before a show and although the place was packed out the staff were friendly and attentive. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. Garlic bread, olives, 3 mains and 3 drinks for £52, what's not to love. Will definitely visit again.

Absolutely the worst place I have ever eaten Italian food. Arrived on Valentines Day as a surprise from my partner, we were told we could only order from the small Valentines food menu (a piece of paper someone had hastily typed up and forgot to include any options under the sweet heading) and couldn't order from the main menu. My partner and I were slightly annoyed as the Valentines menu had no classic pizza or pasta dishes but picked out one starter and two mains regardless. Imagine our surprise when the couple next to us were then handed normal menus and were allowed to order pizzas. It took 45 minutes for one starter of meatballs to arrive, three bland meatballs floated in some vaguely tomato coloured water (how anyone could describe this as a sauce was beyond me). Then another 30 minutes before our main arrived, we asked how long it would be to which a server walked around a corner and back in about 2 seconds and said it was just "on its way".Someone must have misread the menu in the kitchen because our 'chicken breast topped with mushroom and a tomato sauce' turned up 10 minutes after that as two thin slices of chicken buried under a mountain of mushroom.Fed up at this point, we asked for the bill and to skip dessert, the older lady serving us then proceeded to welcome 3 other sets of guests and ignore us. Continuing to ignore us, she served the couple next to us their desserts and coffee, gave them their bill and they left while we are still sat there trying to flag her down.Utterly atrocious food in pathetic portions and non-existent service. There are 3 other Italian places on either side, go to one of those.

Lovely meal as usual at this family run 5***** restaurant. Very friendly management and staff and the food is always delicious and fairly priced. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Can't fault the Flying Pasta at all!The staff are excellent, very freindly, always welcoming and very attentive. The food is absolutely brilliant. It's not even expensive, it's very reasonably priced especially since the location is brilliant as well.Never ever had a bad meal here and I have been on several occasions. Expect to wait a little longer if it's very busy, as all the food is cooked fresh and tastes delicious, well worth the wait. The perfect place to come if you are going to the cliffs for a show. If you want a nice quiet meal during the week come at around 7.30 as it will be relatively quiet. Thanks very much to the staff and the chef's for the excellent experience every single time. Will definitely visit again! Thanks again
