Heritage restaurant has been my go to over the past year. I'm addicted to the food and the ambience. It's comfortable, clean and homely. I've never met hosts so welcoming and never laughed as much as I have in any restaurant. Will definitely be going back, especially for my suya fix ( it's the best I've had in England hands down)

Excellent food.. 'best chicken I've ever had', and even better hospitality from the owner. We came, asked a million questions about the menu, were given spot-on recommendations. After we finished eating we got up and had a boogie! Go eat here!!

Actually waited more than 2hours for them to send us our meal. No customer service whatsoever. In the end had to eat some of my friends food because mine did not arrive in time and by the time it did I was full and had to do takeaway. My other friend didn't get her meal till we was about to leave. Absolutely ridiculous. Won't be coming here again.

Lovely restaurant, very clean, food taste so good. Best Nigerian/African food I have eaten in ages. I can't believe it took me this long to find this place. Highly recommend and looking forward to coming back .

Quick order and it was ready before I arrived. Food was freshly prepared good quantity and hot too. Not spicy enough. But that's just me liking my food very spicy. Nice service overall.

Food is proper authentic, good portions nice vibe, cosy seating and lighting. Top shelf drinks available. Good music and vibes. Try it out if you want something different and refreshing in Southend!
