Frangoz Peri Peri in Southend-on-Sea

This is he second time we've eaten from here we called in and picked up , we had lamb in pitta bread both times with peri chicken and Mexican chicken with wedges and was really nice can't understand the bad reviews was reasonably priced Def call again .

I have ordered Peri Peri chicken from here many a time and it have always found the food great! Big fan of their hot marinade but the definitely recommend the mild for the kids.

Don’t know how this place is still open when it has a 1 star hygiene but my mrs went in for collection the other day and the chicken was raw do not order from frangoz

never ordering from here again! My mum ordered from them and they said they were close by so we waited and they never showed up and they have robbed my mum of her money.

Absolutely disgusting, ordered hoping for some food for the night but have been waiting 2.5 hours and still nothing never ordering here again .

I always try to refrain from leaving bad reviews and give benefit of the doubt to the restaurant/service.However with frangoz, my order was accepted, money taken and no food actually comes... several times, leaving me to chase a refund with just eat again. (Second or third time regarding this restaurant)Several other occasions food was missing or replaced with another item - with no warning. The last time I will try to eat from there.If you click accept , make sure you fulfill your order or don't take the customers money. Thankyou

It took over an hour and a half to have my meal delivered. The food was all stone cold. I ordered a peri peri corn on the cob as a side but instead received a pitta bread and hummus. I will not be ordering from here again! Everything was messed up.

I got half of my order , I called them and they told me we will send the other half of the order now, just give us two minutes. They Send me the burger and I'm still waiting for the drink. At the end of the story I will eat a cold burger and drink a hot drink. It happened to me twice

Please do not use this place. Waited an hour and half for food. Used Uber Eats and the manager told me he accepts no responsibility for the lateness as Uber Drivers are the ones who kept me waiting. They use their own drivers though..?! Then when driver did turn up, he was agressive and didn’t give me my whole order. Food was inedible and cold too.

I am completely disappointed, I have been ordering from here the last two years and today must have been the worse, firstly they forgot items on the order which I understand sometimes this happens, some of the order was wrong, and I have never seen so much condensation in the bag of chicken ever. It was about halfway full of water so when the chicken came out none of the flavouring was left on the chicken, I’m not sure what they done differently. The chicken wings were fine it was just the half chicken that was the problem. When I called the guy answering the call may want to go on a customer services course as he was unaware of how to speak to customers. Doubtful I will ever order from here again.
