About 12 customer's in here. Ordered within 10 mins, 2 drinks, 2 starters, 2 mains. Still waited forever. Burger was awful. So much fat residue on my plate. No one came up to ask if food was ok. Starter was lovely chicken squewers. Spaghetti was nice, just not enough, more like child's portion! Never visit here again.

We went to frankie and Benny's at southend. WELL. We got there at 7.15. Left at 9.20. The first main was chicken stack. It tasted well funky. Sent back to "we have never had a complaint about our chicken before" WELL YOU HAVE NOW!! WE THEN HAD PIZZA WRAP. It was ok over cooked. Then 25 minutes for our ice cream Really!!. Will not be going back or recomending

Omg where do I start? Been going here for years and loved it. I went today and it was shite! They've changed the menu's which now look like a secondary school child has knocked them up on photoshop in his (or hers) lunch break and just look dreadful. My girlfriend asked for the gluten free spag bol... No pasta, despite it being a new menu of just 3 days, so she went gluten free ribs instead. I had the bbq chicken. Food turned up and hers consisted of 4 stringy ribs which looked like they'd come off the oldest pig in the farm, half an overcooked corn on the cob, a mouthful of coleslaw and a jacket botato. The botato was kind of cooked in some places and stone cold in others. It came to the party alone. No butter. No cheese. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Suspected it had been unsuccessfully nuked in a microwave. It looked like downmarket wimpy. And tbh that's being unfair to wimpy! It was 4 random ingredients dumped on a plate. My chicken was OK but the 'fries' were straight out of a bag from tesco and thrown in the oven for a bit. Same corn on the cob and coleslaw deal going on on my plate. The restaurant was filthy, just look where the seat meets the back on the bench seats, the cutlery was dirty, we swapped ours from another table and there was sick dried onto the window and floor underneath the table! Really won't be going back, ever, to any of this chains restaurants. Massive disappointment. Shame we didn't take a picture of the food. Gordon Ramsey would have had an annurism! Won't be returning. The only saving grace was my girlfriend dug her heels in and refused to pay which after nearly 10 minutes of arguing they told us we wouldn't be charged. Should have gone to the pub! Wouldn't recommend! And the hand drier in the gents is still broken after over a year. Sort it out ffs!Frankie and Bennys watch day 2... Drove past it today and the sick still hasn't been cleaned off the inside window!

Food is nice and moderately priced. Service was very slow despite it not being very busy. They barely had any sauce for the entire restaurant. And there was no BBQ sauce at all for my pulled pork beef burger. My most recent visit was far worse than my previous visits.

Ordered for a party of 10 Adults & 4 Children over the phone because Deliveroo wouldn't take orders for the Children's menu.Food was ready quickly and exactly as ordered.Manager gave us a substantial discount. My only advice to others is the food didn't travel particularly well and some food has dried out a little.

Paid £9 for this do not think it was worth it at all! Looks very rushed and for £9 I would expect a lot more for my money!

My boyfriend and I have visited the restaurant twice now. Both times we have been served by the manager (I presume). Lovely guy. I ordered a milkshake both times and they were delicious. We enjoyed our starters, and the mains are great. Good portions and the new menu is fab!I loved trying a bunch of mini portions of all the desserts. It's a fab option for a foodie like myself and was great sharing with my boyfriend. Lovely staff and kind and extremely helpful.

Don't know what was going on in this place. Wasn't busy but the staff were all preoccupied with whatever. Got seated fine but took some 20 mins for staff to come take our order and it was only because we flagged him down. There were no hot drinks or milkshakes as their equipment was faulty. We waited 20 mins before we had to flag down the same waiter to ask where our starters were. He said he will go check but never came back to update us. Waited another 10 mins before we decided to leave. A total of 50 mins wasted and left even hungrier and annoyed!

Little pricey overall, and quantity is definitely the order of the day over quality.Staff were lovely, though. Absolute diamonds.Service wasn't the fastest but it was very high quality. If I could change something it would be to make the £5 milkshake larger. It wasn't high enough quality to merit the price.Would probably go again 😊

Good customer service, the food and drink in general is great but they do have issues with cooking medium steak as mine came out well done on two occasions. Having been a chef myself I find this difficult to swallow as it isn't rocked science, 2-2 1/2 mins each side and its done.
