Fusion in Southend-on-Sea

DO NOT ORDER RIBS FROM THIS PLACE. Hardly any meat on the bone. No flavour taste like just come out the freezer. Called them up to explain I wasn’t happy they didn’t offer anything just said alright bye. I ordered a new Chinese from another shop as I wasn’t satisfied with this. Waste of my money.

Disappointed the pancakes were missing from our order and couldn't get through to let them know until an hour later. They offered to drop them off but really was too late. It's not the first time this has happened either. The rest of the food was tasty.

What a lovely place, with such friendly, polite and efficient staff. Food looks fantastic. With a couple of little added treats which were most appreciated

Delicious Chinese food... Discovered quite by accident during lockdown... Portion sizes are good and sauces are delicately flavoured... This is not your average take away...

Food isn't bad but they can't seem to keep up with demand. Collections and deliveries are always late and orders aren't always bagged up correctly.

Consistently the best Chinese in Southend, each and every time. In 8 months of ordering I've never had any issue from here. Just delicious fresh Chinese food that is a step above all the other many Chinese I have tried in the area. I've no idea why their rating isn't higher.The ingredients have such an attention to detail that I even think they dont use canned bamboo shoots here which is unheard of locally

Cannot fault it as they have really improved since they first opened, lovely food and still the only Chinese takeaway I know who do chicken wui sui a sweet sour chilli sauce in their own way! Amazing!

When I first 'discovered' this place about 1 year ago the food was fantastic and I used it weekly. Something must have changed in the last 3 weeks because now it is terrible. Full of msg and salt, greasy and curries that get delivered by the slice!

Food was cold when delivered, sweet and sour chicken balls very greasy, curry sauce cold, rung and explained this to them, said they will get driver to come and collect to reheat, explained we have a newborn and then they offered £5 refund said no as was £30 order wanted at least 50% refund back. Agreed on £10 refund but still not happy with it as most of the food has gone to waste.NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR but had to give so i can leave a review wont be ordering from these again. We only live a few roads away from this place too.

Never had a problem with Fusion, love their food! If you go down to the takeaway itself you can actually see the food being made. I feel a lot safer eating there rather than most Chinese takeaways (behind the beaded curtain). Only issue I've ever had is getting through to their phone but hey, that's how to yet a good takeaway right?
