Absolutely enjoyed everything about my stay in the "Nelson's Lookout" room at the Hamilton Boutiqye Hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff simply could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Debbie, the property manager, was a wonderful resource of information of the area, including assisting with bus travels during the train labor strike. She is also the incredible cook who prepared my complimentary breakfast each morning. I opted for the Full English Breakfast each day and absolutely savored every bite. The room overlooks the Thames Estuary, the longest walking pier in the world, and the Adventure Zone amusement park at the Southend Pier. It's a very short walk to High Street for shopping and dining, and a very short walk to the two Southend train stations.Feel confident booking at this hotel, I don't see how you could go wrong

Such a lovely little hotel, 2 minute walk from the beach! The room was lovely and the bed was really comfy, I got such a good night sleep! Debbi was lovely too, nothing was too much hassle and the attention to detail made it! Definitely recommend ☺️

Great location, lovely staff and breakfast was good but the bed really let the stay down. Not comfortable at all.

·

Beautiful balcony room! So spacious and tastefully decorated. Excellent hospitality, warm welcome, helpful and delicious breakfast. Definitely recommend and will visit again x

2.2 I would high recommend staying elsewhere. Considering the price I would have expected better sevice, especially at breakfast when I was treated with contempt and outright rudeness. Bar the deadful service, the room was overpriced but clean and came with some sweeties. Close to the sea front so that is a plus. I think I have been generous with my score

We have just had two nights at this lovely hotel.Debbie and her team couldn’t have done more to make our stay perfect. Our gang of cousins used the hotel for a reunion & she even decorated the dining room with happy birthday banners to help us celebrate with a champagne birthday breakfast/pyjama party. We will all be booking in again very soon.

Good sea front hotel, I was offered an upgrade as the hotel wasn't full. Hostess was friendly and directed me to several choices for dinner; only downside was that breakfast wasn't till 8 so I had to be at my place of work long before this!

Great place. We had the balcony suite and it was fabulous. Lovely big lounge, with a great view of the sea, comfy bed and a decent (if a little small) bathroom. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Not a complaint but be aware that the sound proofing isn't great and we could hear the people above us talking and moving about. No biggie if you have quiet neighbours though.
