Thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Henry's and looking forward to going back again soon 🤗

Nowhere close to average, sorry guys!! Nice place but there was no good quality in the ingredients... and the bacon in my burger was already off. My partner had the same as me and luckily they forgot to add the bacon!! My sons son's chicken was the tasteless dish I ever tried... and wasn't even cooked properly.Well wasted money!!The chips were nice though

The burgers in here are second to none. The veggie/vegan options are not just an afterthought but are well cooked and presented unlike other places. My daughter (7) raves about the Mac and cheese. I must admit she's right. A little expensive for some things but you really do get what you pay for.

Visited at lunchtime on New Years Eve after a truly disastrous experience at Garrards opposite. Thankfully, Henry Burgers was every bit as good as I’d remembered it! They have a fantastic lunch deal running during the week which includes 2 burgers with fries and any two sides for under £30. I went for the HFC, a spicy buttermilk chicken burger, and my partner opted for the classic cheeseburger. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and served in soft, sweet, brioche buns. For the sides we had the Mac and Cheese and the Deep Fried Pickles. Large portions of each, the macaroni was rich and full of flavour and the pickles were served with an amazing, homemade, blue cheese sauce. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because the chips were over cooked and I don’t agree with making servers wear masks in restaurants while it’s not mandatory, as it makes them hard to hear/understand when asking questions about the menu. That being said, service was quick, friendly and efficient. If you want a good burger in Leigh, then look no further. Highly recommended.

First time I experienced Henry Burgers they were in Southend, nr the high street. Today only went as I was in Leigh with my daughter and thought i'd try them again. Good service by a young lady, good food!Chimichuri burger was tasty, loaded fries with blue cheese spicy. Daughter enjoyed the chicken wings and she s a fussy eater! All in all, a great lunch! Bit of a let down with a menu of very expensive cocktails @ £12. One gets cheaper cocktails in London these days!

Delicious burgers combined with tasty cocktails. Best place for burgers in Southend.****Another visit and another delicious burgers was served. All staff is very friendly and will recommend delicious drinks if you would ask. Just have in mind that frozen margarita will freeze your brain 🤪

·

I enjoyed what I had thoroughly. I would be happy to recommend to anyone. Fab look about the place. I had the vegan options. Only didn't give 5 stars as I didn't fully experience all on offer. I'll be back again for sure.

·

Great burgers, great sides - lovely local Leigh beers. Chilled atmosphere on a sunny Saturday afternoon, even with our 6 year in tow. Very much recommended.

I've been on a few occasions and have never been let down. With a vast selection of cold beer and cocktails to accommodate what I would say is probably one of the best burger you can get. Service is always on par and the staff take pride in what they do. Would highly recommend.

Update 06/08/2018: Refunded, gifted vouchers, Deliveroo at fault, owner very sincere and understanding, superb customer experience.I have been in contact with the owner, who I must say is very sincere and understanding, as well as caring of his customers. The fault mainly sits with Deliveroo for their poor delivery of this order. However, of course to remain unbiased I must add that Henry’s Burgers did themselves not stand up to quality in terms of their portions, but the owner was truthfully honest and very willing to accept and acknowledge this (Which I feel most owners usually wouldn’t). I give 5 stars for customer service, though I have not been able to experience the food of Henry’s Burgers properly, I believe it is of a good quality, and I won’t let Deliveroo’s poor service change this belief. The owner was quick to apologise with sincerity, the business hadn’t even been open an hour and he was already replying to my original review below, having already spoken to his chef and staff about the matter. I certainly feel this is an owner who is very caring of his customers and the quality of the service his business supplies, this alone certainly has exceeded my expectations and impressed myself. Not only did the owner apologise, he took the time to explain why this happened, that he himself wasn’t impressed with the quality, and confirmed what I had suspected that Deliveroo was late to pick up the order. Because of this the quality of the food suffered immensely, so fault lies with Deliveroo more so in this matter.Despite Deliveroo not offering me a refund, which they should have. The owner of Henry’s Burgers went above and beyond, offering me a full refund and gifting me vouchers for my next visit, which can be confirmed by his reply below. For the owner to fully refund me and supply me with vouchers, I’m not only grateful, but also impressed as it is clear the owner wishes to make every customer’s experience stellar.I look forward to my visit to the restaurant as I do believe the food quality at Herny Burgers is of a good quality, and it was just unfortunate that Deliveroo failed to deliver (ironically). To add to this the time of ordering was a very busy Saturday evening and I can imagine, as well as understand the stress the kitchen probably had placed on it.Overall a fantastic response and experience from a sincere, honest owner, who's very in tune with customer satisfaction. I look forward to increasing my rating to reflect not just customer service, but also the quality of the food once I have visited.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------06/08/2018: Old review that was written out of irritation without knowing the facts at the time. I’d like to stress that I do retract this review. I leave this review here below simply to correspond with the owner’s sincere reply.04/08/2018:Beyond disgraceful service & food (See pictures). We were probably the last order of the night as they closed on deliveroo after ours was delivered, so I'm going to assume the staff couldn't be bothered to fulfill it or be professional. To clarify the restaurant is not far away, so if this food was cooked 'fresh' which I highly doubt, it would not have arrived like this. Chips & onion rings caked in oil, stone cold, soggy, & as if they were scraped from the bottom of the tray after sitting around all day. Not to mention getting two so called portions of chips which combined still wouldn't have been a full portion. The mac & cheese was scorched, rock solid, & the container not even a 1/4 full.Overall I did not receive £45 of food, & trying to get through to them on the phone wasn't happening, they don't close till 1 am but can't answer the phone at 10:30 pm. So I couldn't have them come & collect their food & refund me fully. Instead we've had to bin the lot & cook something that isn't so caked in oil a heart attack would be round the corner, stone cold & liable to make someone choke. I managed to pay £45 in the end for literally nothing.
