Just Kebab in Southend-on-Sea

Ordered a takeaway. For £60 we have received mostly bread. This is a photo of the mixed kebab minus the meat.There was no rice.The salads were small.

Service was good but the food was not nice

1st time here, food was absolutely amazing, big fan of Turkish food.I found it to be more expensive than expected 3 people almost £100.00, I guess that should be expected in Southend as its a tourist attraction.Highly recommended.

Nice little establishment. Simple decor. Friendly staff. Food wise got a few different dishes. Chicken shawarma with Chips, Lamb/Chicken Sheesh with Chips and a combination of Lamb Sheesh and Adana Kebab with Chips. All meals usually come with rice but opted for for Chips instead. Personal favourite from the skewers was the Lamb Sheesh.The Chicken Shawarma was a bit bland for my liking but was a good size portion.Even got a customer toilets female/male.

The restraunt is well placed when coming off the bus literally right there 45 second walk if your slow over a minute. Customer service was very good and the food exceeded my expectations however slightly on the pricy side but being from the North maybe this is biased. The quality of the meats were very good and well seasoned, there was a decent amount of rice on the plate too.

This review is actually 3 months old. The only reason I am posting now is because I was in the area and I remembered about my awful experience.I went to this restaurant with my family as it was the only halal restaurant in the areaThe one star represents the food only. The quality of the food was excellent but it was overpriced.Now, the reason for the negative review:The waiter who serviced us clearing had issues with us. He led us to our table without saying anything to us. He gave our menu' s without talking to us. He then went to the next table and was offering them everything under the sun. He was checking if they were satisfied and offered complimentary drinks and dessert. This was a Caucasian family.When we were ready to order, I called the waiter over and he took the order. He wrote down the order and walked away. Again he said nothing to us. Behind us came in a group of 4 caucasians. The waiter did a hop,skip and jump and went straight to them. He was talking that much, I thought he was going to pass out. During the meal, the waiter did not come over and see if all was ok. He did walk past us a few times so he could have asked if he really wanted to. After eating, I asked for the bill. The waiter bought it over and there was no offer of any complimentary drinks or dessert. I don't expect to be offered freebies but I feel if you are going to offer one customer, you should offer others. I paid the bill. The waiter tried to round it to the nearest £10, whilst trying to claim tip. I made sure that he did not get any tip from me as his level of service towards me and my family did not deserve one.On our way out, another waiter greeted us and held the door open for us. If this guy was our waiter, I'm sure this review would have been a lot more different.The waiter who served us was an elderly male and because of him, I will not be visiting this place again

That was probably the tastiest , freshest, most satisfying Turkish meal I've ever had. The team and service were excellent. The complimentary elements were very generous. I had the aubergine salad followed by sea bream. The portions are so generous. Cooked to perfection. And the baklava was to die for.If only I lived closer, I'd be in all the timeFantastic.Do you deliver to Wales? Xxx

Absolutely rubbish and waste of time.No hygienic, everywhere flying small mosquitoVery very very expensive, we had 4 lamb chop with rice and salad 1small can of coke and couple of naan bread £25.16, (Me and two other mate paid 25.26*3=£75.48Same day we try different shopExactly same portion 4 lame chop rice salad (Some free chips) and coke £13.5 each paid

It's got to be the most expensive meal I ever had in a turkish take-away restaurant.The place is mainly atake out serving as a restaurant, no covid 19 precautions whatsoever by staff. Food is good but charging 13 quid for a child's burger is OTT. Overall a 70 quid bill for starters (sucuk and hellim), 1 main dish, 1 plate of chips, 1 side salad and 1 burger is not cheap.

This restaurant is just amazing !!!!The food is really fresh the meat is halal and very well cooked!!!All the ingredient are fresh and for a good price!I am glad to find this addresse.It is just behind the Radisson frontbeachI was served quick and with generous portion.I will pay around 20£ for all this food.I really recommend this restaurant and it is not a fast foodReally nice for dinner and take away
