KFC in Southend-on-Sea

Items missing from order. No fillet burger. Also 3 boneless meal strips were not even whole strips. Cup full of ice so hardly any drink either. For the price they charge these days I am furious. Disgusted to say the least. As take away didnt even see until we got home and now both people will be left hungry.

I ordered the 10pc hot wings but it looked very dark, like the oil hasn't been changed in months. The batter is too thick and some of the wings were overcooked and very dry. The wings also tasted very off that I cant even eat it.

I have a blue light card I work for the NHS. Finished work late , grabbed a meal, the server asked for ID I showed my bank card on my phone a statement too with my name still would not accept . I know a small discount but the server was so stroppy. I just left.

They seem to be in some issues around equality problem's from my experiences on several occasions, my family get drive through at least once a week. And the supercharger sauces were usually free. Then on the first occasion they asked us to pay for each tub and I said we always have had them free, so we ended up asking whats changed and apparently at that time its discretionary depending on basically the employees mood lol found that strange. So if you get charged for the tubs you then know you are being charged on personal opinion. Or the current mood settings! And not to forget you get a 50/50 chance of the correct order so make sure you check everything before you drive off otherwise they will disregard your word basically call yiu a liar when you come back and ask to swap the orange for the Pepsi you actually asked for... oh and you can't pick what chicken piece you prefer. Twice I ordered 2 piece chicken meal but I asked anything but drum stjck piece, and got told no I can't choose. First occasion they reasoned with me and gave me the order I asked for and second time I said at the paying point that I don't want the order ask I don't know and understand why I can't get the order I asked for, my reply was im playing games and waisting peoples time! so many problems that shouldn't be happening!

Food was ok not great but the cleanliness of the restaurant was poor worst I’ve ever seen. Tables dirty and food on floor!

Went into this KFC to try the Vegan burger as I have not been into one of their shops for over 10 years. Ordered the burger with large fries and a Pepsi Max.The burger was OK, could have had a bit more salad in it but flavour wise it was nice. The fries were in two halves, half warm the other half cold, maybe they left the fries on the side while they cooked the burger as they said it would take 5 minutes to prepare.The lemon scented face towel was nice, the best bit of the meal.I will probably leave it another 10 years before returning as the shop is virtually empty and they cannot cook a simple meal with chips correctly. I was going to give 2 stars but gave a third for reminding me not to go back. Thanks for the heads up.

Been to a bunch of different restaurants and many are poor quality and rude staff but not this one. The whole team here are ladies and they were amazing excellent team and cooked the food well best KFC I've been to. Wish I lived closer..

Just another KFC. Issues I have with this store is the extremely long wait times. Average wait times are 10-20min for takeaway and longest wait I’ve had is 25min a few times. Drive thru is often long queue up to 30min. But otherwise they do get the order correct and food is alright as usual.

Go here from time to time thinking it might of improved but sadly this place will forget items from your order EVERY SINGLE TIME. I mean I can understand that original chicken and hot wings are different items but it's pot luck for what you get it as they can't seem to tell the difference. Also if you order more than one wrap they will definitely forget to put more than one in the bag. Wouldn't leave a review like this if it'd happened the once but this place is a joke now.

Went in late last night for a quick bit of dinner with my partner. The majority of the seating area was closed but we asked if there was any chance of eating in as we didn’t want to try and eat it in the car (KFC can be pretty messy!). The very kind lady at the till said we were more than welcome to, and directed us towards a table that was freshly cleaned.She was extremely pleasant and we had a lovely meal. I cleaned down the table myself afterwards with the nearby cleaning spray and blue roll as I didn’t want to burden the staff with an extra job when they were so close to closing time. Very good service and staff!
