Khan Tandoori Restaurant in Southend-on-Sea

Had a lovely meal at this restaurant last night for the 1st time in many years it was like we had never been away, food was to its usual high standard and we were made to feel very welcome. Will certainly be going back

Good meal from Roger and his team again. Asked a local about another place and their response was just go to Khans and they were right. HB tried the Kashmir curry and loved it, I had the tikka biriani, which was great as usual.

100 stars, great service, amazing food, lovely atmosphere, all staff very attentive, but not pushing to order or hurry up, Rodger the owner is so lovely speaks to all customers and makes everyone very welcome, we went valentines night and all the ladies received a rose plus complimentary drinks

Son in law booked a table for 5 nearly 2 weeks in advance turned up on the night no table although it was confirmed by staff and owner. They gave us a table for 2 max .far too small you can leave if you want sorry. I travelled from Norfolk as I have been to the restaurant many times the staff were extremely rude on this night not worth it any more not recommended

Not the best to be honest. Small king Prawn starter and not very well presented as pic shows. Chicken tikka masala was far too sweet but still a nice little place to go and really nice staff.

Excellent food and we are always well looked after by the owners - recommend

Visit for my sons birthday celebrations with family. The food was excellent. I had a set meal. It was served hot and with lots of smiles and laughter. The best Indian meal I've had in a long time. The peshawar naan was the best ever. I highly recommend this lovely friendly and comfortable restaurant. They could not have done more to make this an evening to remember. Thank you all.

If its an upmarket Indian restaurant you're after then this won't be for you. Its a little rough and ready, but if its the best Indian food you will taste at any restaurant in the area then this is the place for you. The food is outstanding in my opinion and at such a reasonable price. Well worth a visit.

Nice Indian food, got a lot of different kind of food and all very tasteful.
