Lovely food, small menu but something for everyone. Will definitely visit again

It's really unfortunate because the food itself is nice usually. We ordered on deliveroo, the order didn't arrive for around 2 hours & when it arrived it was incorrect. No offer of a refund on the order considering how long it took, only a refund to the item that they didn't send us, which is the bare minimum. I've also been into the restaurant recently and they clearly don't have enough staff/space for the amount of people they're serving, the wait times are really long & we got Lurpack with a sprinkling of cinnamon for the 'cinnamon butter' with the banana bread which wasn't toasted/warm. We didn't bother mentioning as they actually forgot it to begin with so it felt a bit futile and they were clearly under staffed. Really sad as this is a lovely place, but feels like it's gone downhill recently.

Never order for delivery, I placed an order at 11:19 and my food didn't arrive until 13:25. No one answers the phone, awful service. If I could fice it a 0 stars I would

The sandwich was excellent and so was the coffee. Relaxed, good magazine selection too. Always friendly service. Loos are clean and accessible, good baby changing facilities. Will go back again.UPDATE: Have adapted well to COVID-19. Tables are more spread out. More likely for people to order takeaway. I get three local beers for £10 from here. Very nice!It is always good to frequent local independent businesses. They are a part of the community as much as you are. It's a place to say a friendly hello, exchange some news and just have a chat. So much more needed in these more socially isolated days thanks to the global pandemic. This is the new normal now, so while you can order stuff online, don't forget to keep your local businesses alive. You'd really miss them when they're gone. Not just for the convenience, but for the quality and as I mentioned social aspect.The internet means you can get almost anything online, but you can't do the people watching or browse a counter and try something new. Or get the smell of something good you want to try. Let's hope these businesses survive. It is us to us fellow customers!

Went in this place today for a cup of tea with my partner. It was an off the cuff choice as most other places were shut that I would normally use. However it was lucky that was the case it this is a nice little cafe/bistro that is very friendly and reasonably priced.Lovely and clean including the toilets which can often be crime scenes. Loved the placing bottles of water with mint in onto the tables when a customer comes in, great touch, as it also removes the embarrassment of asking for tap water.So now I have another superb place to go for tea or coffee.Thanks.

The staff were lovely and the food was amazing! My sister and I had the vegetarian breakfast and my mum had sweet potato, chilli, and coconut milk soup. All three of us can't wait to return 🙂

Love! Love! Love! Great coffee, tea and shakes, orange juice is freshly squeezed to order. Food is outstanding. Gluten free and vegan friendly. I bought 4 slices of different cakes to take away, tasted delicious! Will be making this a regular place. Also on route to westcliff train station.

Contacted Frank & Lunas on Facebook to get a cake for my wife's birthday. I received great service and a excellent cake at a good price. They truly cared about making sure everything was good and checked in with me the next day.
