Manoly Thai Restaurant in Southend-on-Sea

Today we travelled from Southend just have lunch here, only to find out kitchen is closed. They said they close at 15:00, we arrived at 14:20 but they just wont let us order. Better to say close at 14:00 if you can’t keep up at 15:00. So disappointed, i won’t return here again. Rubbish marketing, pure laziness.

Had a takeaway tasty and hot, think they only take cash though!

Most delightful food and very attentive and smiling staff. The best green curry ever. Full of flavour and the heat comes slowly a bit later just as it should be.

Such I lovely restaurant. Amazing staff. Very helpful. The food was amazing and very authentic. To the point they sold tiger beer. Haveing been to Thailand and Vietnam it was a good comparison and to be honest if you closed your eyes and tasted there food you would belive that you was in a restaurant or street stall eating in Thailand.There papaya salad was so fresh with a slight kick just like Thailand.The sea bass was full of flavour. As was the Thai chicken green curry. And the beef strips were succulent and so tasty with a touch of bitterness all in all a great experience and totally recommended.

Consistently excellent. It's been a while since I last visited Manoly's and I'm sorry to have been missing out for so long. Celebrating my mum's special birthday was the perfect occasion for enjoying a tasty Thai tempura, as well as their delicious satay, noodles and curries. Service, although obviously masked, was with a warm smile as always and we didn't feel rushed, despite being the last lunch diners of the afternoon. Top marks again, thank you Manoly's!

We went there for my wife’s birthday, and the food is unbelievable, there is no Thai restaurant like this one in essex! They even put a candle in my wife’s dessert, thank you Manoly’s x

The food is great and the staff are friendly. One of the best places to eat out.

Delicious great value lunch. Very friendly staff as always. Can be a little pricer in the evenings.
