Defo it’s summer n beach season so they were full packed. But all I can do is takeaway coffee n enjoy it on my way. Good n quick service.

We ordered two sandwiches and two hot drinks. The BLT had no butter and under cooked bacon. The chicken sandwich barely had any chicken in it. The wait for the food was a long time. Really poor quality for £10 a sandwich. The two stars are only because they gave me a jug of water to cool down my baby's bottle. Should have gone to Mc Donald's!

Had afternoon tea 8/3/22 very dissapointed the sanswiches were unappetising just meat with nothing added to make them a bit special! The scones were overcooked and dry. We had been before the lockdown and enjoyed our experience needless to say we will not be going back

Told that there was no need to book. Did not wait long for them to arrive. We had afternoon tea many times, pre COVID restrictions, which had been grand. Mini quiches, mixed bread finger sandwiches, scones and cakes including madeleines. This time it was a major disappointment. A quarter of an open brioche bun for the egg mayonnaise and bread so small for the finger sandwiches and two still very cold appearing that they had been frozen . The standard was extremely poor and for £32 plus. I was told after we had paid the I could have purchased a voucher and got it for £25. But that it was now too late.. the waitress did not have a good attitude at all . The two star rating is for the tea.

Have walked past this place on various occasions, seeing the delights of cakes in the window. My partner and I decided to experience the food hoping was just as delightful class as the pastries, but unfortunately was disappointed when the food arrived. We ordered the Christmas pancakes: we would expect the custard and cherry compote to come from a packet, but the pancakes were not fresh or hot. The entire dish was cold. Also ordered Valeries Welsh Rarebit (toasted sandwich with a poached egg and small side salad) For what it is was not worth £8.25.Staff were friendly to visitors and their regulars. Two stars is for the coffee & Tea
