We travelled an hour to get here and it was well worth it. The food was fresh non greasy lightly battered.. 100% recommended.. Clean venue friendly staff great restaurant and popular takeaway. We will dine here again when we go to Southend again..

The staff are wonderful, very friendly and chatty. The meal I had is one of the best fish and chips I have eaten. Lovely chunky and crispy chips with lightly battered, firm cod. I ate in which is wuiant but very pleasant. Great value toop, small cod chips, garnish, bread role and cup of tea for £9. Would whole heartedly recommend.

Sorry to say. Not a good experience. All food was delivered hot. But unfortunately the batter around the rock was not just crispy but over done as was the 3 portions of chips and the scampi. For £40 I would expect a lot better.

Really disappointing, ordered twice before and ok this time chips were like cardboard and all the left over scraps called to make them aware and totally un interested knowing we are good customers & have ordered from them previously no offer to send fresh no offers of a refund or even partial and npt suggestion to rectify. Unfortunately won’t be using them againIn response to your reply, correct i have now left a negative review after I contacted you and gave you the option to rectify the problem however like i said your staff were un interested.Leaving only a negative review when i have a bad experience (again only after calling you first) is similar to you still being happy to take my money regardless if the food was good or bad even when you have had feedback. So again a very disappointing response and attitude to what was a loyal customer.
